If cell were given an eternity to reach his absolute limit what would his power/tier be?

Cell gets to train with anybody in the dbz universe (absorb them if he surpasses them)

Cell can use materials like super dragon balls, time rings and even fusion (e.g. having a cell jr reach the same level and fusing)

Cell is pure heart (or at least close)

Cell can obtain any form that he can possibly achieve e.g. golden, god ki, evolution, ultra instinct, kaioken etc (movie and gt power ups are also allowed if he manages to travel between parallel universes)

Toriyama once stated in an interview after Z ended (way before RoF was a thing) that Cell was the villain with the most raw potential, and supposedly the only one who could surpass SS3 Goku by training and effort alone.


Honestly, that statement still stands true, especially now with the advent of Freeza's resurrection(s). Cell literally has everything going for him to have the perfect potential to surpass the gods.

After 10 years i could see him rivaling if not surpassing angels in his base. Especially if he did what jiren did. Although they would likely nerf him for plot reasons since it would be like a superboy prime situation (only nobody would have enough hacks or power to stop him). Especially if he stacked ultra instinct on his whis level base form. Which alone could skyrocket his power to multiversal plus or even higher. I think the gap between cells potential and friezas potential may be similar to the gap between gohan and gokus potential judging by how he has saiyan and human cells along with friezas.

As to whether Cell would be angel-level, I think that's a stretch...but I think it's well within Cell's power to become Jiren or MUI Goku-level.

Well he may have the god ritual to stretch his power and potential even further. And possibly ask super shenron to give him as much power as possible (like a 4d body). With that he could reach far higher. But through raw training i agree he may be around jirens level.

Also i wonder if you can stack multipliers or god ki on top of ultra instinct. If he could do that then he may go even higher.

Self-Destruction -> Regenerationn -> Zenkai -> Profit -> Repeats until Cell reaches High Hyperversal level.

My only issue with that is that I think that Cell is too proud to just abuse that power. He'd want to reach new heights on his own terms.

If cell reaches hyperversal then i could see him pulling a lord english and killing toryama

Cell would become God of all, Frieza who cell has genes of manage to go from SSj1 to SSJB tier in a few months what do you think would happen with Cell who has the Blood of saiyans, Frieza family, namekian could achieve, he probably reach SSJB in several weeks
