Can this be considered Gravity?

Everything in Soul Society is made of spiritual particles the equivalent of matter in the real world. However, while spiritual particles and atoms don't mix well, in the real world, matter has a soul (everything in the bleachverse has a soul even objects) which are made of reishi.

Can the pressure in the atmosphere be consider as gravity here?

If it does it will give some characters Gravity resistance, right?

I dunno. It looks more like soul manipulation on a non-combat level to me, but I know nil about Detergent so take my words with a grain of salt.

Still looks like gravity is involve, otherwise if it was just underwater they could had move and they wouldn't be on their knees.

It's less Gravity Manipulation and more being pressed down by a magical force.

It's not really the same since Gravity Manipulation is the explicit control of that particular force while this Reishi concentration stuff is more akin to being forced down by the irradiation of one's power (which is rather common in manga).

But in Bleach there's a difference between using energy and magic. Gremmy explain it to Kenpachi. Kido is magic. Other power's aren't but they use the same energy. Is different from when Aizen was able to control gravity with a kido spell.

It may not be Gravity manipulation, but is a greater resistance to gravity.

Why do you feel lighter when you are underwater? Even do you move slowly?

Gravity isn't affected at all by being underwater.

Meaning, that if you learn to move at high speed under no gravity, in a force field of gravity you will move even lighter.

Am I correct? Or am i looking to much into this?

@Apple

But it's only resistance against the pressure generated by reiatsu, not necessarily gravity. It's explicitly referred to as being pushed down by the force of one's reiatsu rather than the force of gravity, so I don't think they're interchangeable.

I would compare it to being pressed by an invisible hydraulic system more than actual resistance to the effects of gravity manipulation. They became strong enough to resist it, thus being able to stand up, rather than becoming resistant to the effects of gravity.

They didn't describe themselves as feeling lighter; they just said the reishi in the air was thick, so they struggled to move through it. Ichibei also described it as being hard to breathe for them; so that could be why they were on their knees.

Yes, this was during trainning. I was talking afterwards.

There isn't reiatsu involve here. Is Reishi or spiritual particles for english.

There's a difference between Reishi, Reiatsu and Reiryoku.

it doesnt need to be magic,

but it doesnt mean it is automatically gravity either,

the nen example fits because it puts a "pressure" on the victims that could kill them if it is to much, and in bleach it is similar...

You're describing Reiatsu which is not the same as Reishi.

^does it really make a difference?
Yes. What you're describing is reiatsu. We're talking about Reishi.

Reiryoku = spirit power the spiritual energy people have.

Reiatsu = spirit pressure, the physical force of one's Reiryoku.

Reishi = spirit particles. Like atoms, molecules etc, but for spirits etc.

Reiraku = spirit threads, Condensed spirit energy which takes the form of a thread of cloth. Normal people have white threads, Shinigami have red threads.

Reikaku" (Ú£èÞªÜ, Spiritual Sense) Every person that has Reiatsu subconsciously uses both their sense of vision and their Reikaku at the same time in order to see. When concentrating in the midst of battle, Reikaku takes over an overwhelming amount of perception. In other words, the subconscious begins to stop seeing with "eyes"
