I am looking for the energy value (j/cc^2 or j/cm^2) for burning would, All I can guess is that this formula here is what is needed to do just that.

E=m*c*ΔT

so what would I need to find to solve for this?

and is there a big list of other vlaues for other substances to find the energy vlaue to burn or freeze?
 
I found that the heat capacity of wood is 1.76 j/gK, So I just need to find the way to calculate that to energy value j/cc^2 or j/cm^2
 
So I found that wood burns at around 600 degrees C, but would that be the same temp that burns wood and turns it to Charcoal?
