Boundary Breakers: RP Thread

Before arriving in Liyue, Bast flew over Dragon Spine, the largest current mountain of Mondtstad. There he had spotted some interesting monsters that he wanted to tame before continuing on. And so he expanded his army with some more Hilichurls, including several Cryo Samachurls and Frostarm Lawachurls.

"Hmm, so are there more variations of Hilichurls in Liyue?"

According to his BB there were. And that was not all. There were a number of monsters unique to Liyue's ecosystem. But most important of all, a legendary dragon of immense power could be found here. Bast arrived in Liyue with a mission.

Now Bast stands before a large Hilichurl camp. A colossal Stonehide Lawachurl is staring him down. It is to be expected that some of the strongest Hilichurls would only listen to brute force. As the Lawachurl gets into a fighting stance swipes through the air with his right hand. Dvalin is partially released and an enormous claw seemingly appears out of thins air and sends the unprepared Lawachurl flying into a cliff. That should be intimidating enough.

"I will give you one more chance. Join me." Bast tells the Hilichurls.

They submissively gather at his side. The Lawachurl that was sent flying returns and also submits to Bast. After that any other Hilichurl camps were easily convinced to join Bast when they saw multiple Lawachurls at his side.

The next targets are the Geovishaps.

Diina made a somewhat difficult expression before continuing.

"I didn't really have much. I was a normal girl in the city, that you could find anywhere. I didn't have any outstanding talents, although I had a passion for technology and robotics..... Also... I never had a family."

She says with somewhat lonely eyes as she looks outside of the train onto a passing planform.

"However... As long as I can further my research, I'll always be content no matter what happens. Before, I just wanted to create interstellar travel; but now that I know that there's so much more when it comes to science and multiverse theory was proven correct to some extent, my dream's gotten way bigger! With this lab we're getting, I even plan to start researching more chemistry and biology."

As she says that, her face becomes a bit brighter.

"What about you?"

The youkai known as Hong Meiling opens one of her eyes, still leaning on the the walls by the gate. "Hm?" She opens both her eyes, looking at the human with a raised eyebrow. "Hm.... based on your appearance, I'd say your an Outsider." She sighs, shaking her head. "Since you probably have no idea what's happening, ask away."

Bast has Dvalin slow down and descend above Tianqiu Valley before jumping down and landing gracefully. A Geovishaps hatchling rolled up to him and he patted it.

"Can you point me towards some adult Geovishaps?"

It does so and after a while Bast has tamed several hatchlings and a few adult ones. Now according to his BB there's something called a Primal Geobishap a bit further into the valley. In mere moments Bast finds a cave that has been created by the side of a mountain collapsing. Inside a Primal Geovishap lies asleep.
Bast summons three Lawachurls and wakes up the Geovishap with by whistling a tune for it. It awakens with a roar, ready to fight. However it wasn't prepared to fight three opponents that weren't significantly weaker than it and in the end it was brought to its knees.

From there Bast goes through Nantianmen towards Mt. Hula, where Azdaha, the lord of all Geovishaps is sealed.

She used the international passports and money of the husband and wife who's clothes they were currently wearing in order to get the plane tickets. They TSA workers didn't pay much attention to the facial structure differences, and let them onto the lane just fine.

Now the two of them are on a plane to New Mexico. It would be a six hour flight, so Diina took the free time to use her BB to find out things about the other worlds, while thinking about new inventions and enhancements she could make when she gets a lab.

Down to the Sheol, breaking bones, breaking bad. rushing past the demons, bonies and living poops, Apocrypha reaches the boss room, there a fallen appears, which he promtly flattens into the ground.

Then satan statue come to life and becomes BUFF, so the eldrich knight responds by becoming BUFFER and punching him off. Third phase, Satan becomes giant and tries to stomp on Apocrypha, but he just intercepts and snaps the leg backward. WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN.

Next up, Dark Room. Gint golden door, can't open, can't break throught, oooof. Anyway, Boss gallore, almost every room has one, but slap, laser and beam gaallore clears everything out. Final Boss, Lamb ! ... he just cracks it's skull in two and eats him.

Time to backtrack, jumping back up the Floor to the womb, Apocrypha ascends up to the to the cattedral. False hoy being, wreacked, Angel statues, broken, Angels, nukes, key pieces, collected. Boss of the Floor ... absent ... weird. Oh well, descending down to the Chest.

Same as the Dark Room, but with the key complete the giant golden door can be opened. But first, boss gallorex2, then final boss 2 ! ... still not present, the heck. Eh, time to chek the door.

Finaler boss, Mega Satan. Hand come in, break hands, slap face, break phase. Satan hides, minor bosses start spawning in droves, spawning a giant waves of tears that floats the entire room and instakilling them as soon as they spawn. Then as the anti-christ comes back out, Apochypha jumps at his face and starts slapping him on loop ad infinitum untill his skin falls off, then pulverising the skull inot a fine dusts that is then consumed.

He would close his own eyes, as he takes a stance, trying to concentrate all of his power, thinking to himself to feel the universe inside him, to try and burn up all of his cosmos, as he slowly shifts stance, and then... He tries releasing all of his cosmos into a small blast from his fist.

At Mt. Hula bast instructs the Geovishaps to start digging a tunnel. While Bast oversees this a little, blue-haired girl approaches him.

"What are you doing?" She asks.

What is a little girl like doing out here?

"I am freeing a great and noble dragon." Bast answers truthfully.

According to his BB, this girl is something akin to an incarnation of Azhdaha, a fragment of him. Azhdaha's rage and anguish to be precise. The girl offers to more precisely guide the Geovishaps towards the dragon, which Bast accepts.

Then there should be at least one more fragment, no?

As the Geovishaps get closer to the seal, a sort of white aura starts spilling out. Bast wouldn't have noticed if he wasn't already on alert. Could this be it? The other fragment? He reaches out to it.

"There is no need to be alarmed. Come. Just watch." He whispers to it.

Then the the ground tremors as the seal is broken. Behind it is a huge cave filled with amber crystals. Jiu is nowhere to be seen, instead there's a dragon in the middle of the cave, Azhdaha.

"You have my gratitude for coming to free me. Now I can take my revenge upon Morax!" He roars.

"The pleasure's all mine. But before you go, could I have a talk with you?" Bast asks with a mischievous smile

Azhdaha looks at him questioningly.

"Well as you might have imagined, I didn't come here just to set you free and then be on my way. I wanted to ask you to join me on my journeys - oh but you don't have to answer yet. Let's just talk in peace first.

Ok, well, let me get this out of the way first. Morax is gone." Bast says before covering his ears.

"WHAT?!" Azhdaha's voice thunders throughout the entire cave. He looks at Geovishaps who nod in confirmation.

"Yes, I don't know what happed, but that's just how it is. Then next I wanted to ask you a question. Are you aware that you are incomplete?" Bast asked while signaling something.

"What are you trying to imply? I do not like -"

Azhdaha becomes quiet when the white aura coalesces and possesses one of the Geovishaps.

"It is all true. 'You' are only part of the whole, of 'us'. Due to erosion, you have forgotten much of what actually happened..."

The white aura was Azdaha's other, more benevolent side. The two talked things out. As it turned out Azhdaha had not been betrayed and much of his anger was misplaced. At the end of it the two became one again upon Bast's suggestion.

"If you come with me, I am confident I can find a way to stop the effects of erosion on you. So what will your answer be?" Bast asks now that everything has been resolved.

"I will gladly join the one who set me free. I pledge my allegiance to you, and you alone."

Bast grins. "Welcome aboard!" He exclaims with open arms.

As the two of them get further away from the airport and into the sparsely populated town, she then brings out a red car from her BB's storage.
Before sitting down in the car which is ready to go, she turns to Sam with a meaningful expression. I seems she'd had something she wanted to say for a while but held it in until they were alone.
"...Y'know. I was never as intelligent as I am now, in my old world. I was taken in and raised by my princedom to be a scientific engineer, but I never scored even in the top 1,000 in the country in terms of test scores. I say all that to say, with the summoning of us and our gaining a class with abilities... It should be possible to achieve your true dream!! So, if somewhere deep in your heart you still want to be a musician, go for it!!"
Diina said with heavy emphasis, she even went as far as to strike a pose with it.

Diina drives for a bit before stopping in front of an immaculate glass building.

"This is the United State's Los Alamos National Laboratory." Diina said.

"I'm not sure how close your world was to this one... but around 75 years ago in this world, there was a great war which ended with this country using two super bombs which could destroy entire cities. It's funny, really... Despite my world being more scientifically advanced than this one in most respects, we never created such a weapon."

Diina briefly paused before continuing.

"And this is the lab where those super bombs were created all those years ago in secret."
Diina chuckles.
"It's quite ironic that a roboticist such as myself would pick a lab which is historically suited for chemists and physicists; but... I decided I was going to work on my weaknesses."

Diina said with a slight smile as she stepped out of the car.

"Oh I understand, I suppose you could try to modify the power source of the superweapons to use it in your experiments, either creating a way to combine robotics with chemistry or improving human biology through mechanical implants powered by the source" Samuel says understanding the Diina's choice following her

Walking around in the village. "hat this looks different I last played this game well it was a game in my world. That was 2018 or 1.13 what changed?" I explain.

with this question the answers overwhelm his mind for several minutes.

Finally his work was done. Due to his smaller size he didn’t require too many materials for his armor. On his head Tyrant wore what resembled a luchador mask with red lighting bolt going down each side of the head, covering his eyes (That part is see-through) while the rest was green with holes for his fin like portions. The body had fairly unremarkable with it mostly just being Jho’s hide covering his body however the arms and lower legs had deviljho’s teeth covering them down to the hands and feet which each had 3 spikes from Jho’s tail acting has sort of battle claws. Didn’t have enough for a proper weapon though.

“This suit is excellent! Let’s visit this Minecraft place. We shall flex on the other summoned with our new found strength! Then I’ll meet the Gajalaka Chief and gain more even more strength.”

Due to Azhdaha being the lord of Geovishaps, the majority of Geovishaps in Liyue were under Bast's command. With Azhdaha by his side, Bast easily conquered a small army of monsters from Liyue, Mondtstad and even the outer regions of Inazuma. The BB's capability of teleporting to previously visited coordinates was very useful in this endeavor.

Now Bast had returned to Minecraft, walking through the grassy plains where he had first arrived in that world.

Getting up after the information dump I stumble towards the edge of the village.

"Oh crap Tyrant the GEICO Gecko is here." I say. "And I haven't said hi."

This place was interesting to say the least. Based on what his BB is telling him, certain creatures here could be used for food which was good. Every army needs a food supply after all and with Bazel he could easily secure any goods around. That would come later, for now he just wanted to show off and maybe do some recon while he’s at it.

Bazel roared letting Tyrant know of Nick’s approach. Tyrant decided to simply wait until Nick got close enough talk.

Nick seeing the army removes his armor and weaponry except for the wrist communicator.

"Hello?" I say calmly. "You seem to be do good for yourself. How can I be of assistance?"

Tyrant looked the 3 eyed human up and down in a curious manner. “ Hello there. So I take it you’ve been in this place awhile? This land of cubes is pretty strange right?”

"I have some experience, yes and it is strange. But a village isn't to far apparently it is rather easy to interact with as my breaker told me for a decent reward, magic weapons and armor, powerful defenses, guides to better items and some nice food. Care to pillage it with me." I say bowing.

[Btw I was planning on world hopping soon after getting the lab together, which is why I've been waiting on the GM to come back to respond, so they won't have to read so much.]

I appear in a large city with a giant tower in the center of town. I start walking through the city, asking the breaker a few questions to get a better handle on my plan for this world and eventually reach my first destination.

So this is where I can find a Professor.

After going inside and talking to the Professor about getting registered as a Pokemon Trainer, I leave the building with five Pokeballs, and an ID along with a few Luxury Balls I got from talking to one of the scientists. Heading Northeast of the city, I enter Route 13 in search of my first Pokemon.

Hunting down a monster to tame it, eh? I wouldn't have dreamt of doing something this audacious until I'd reached a decent way into the Sophist Realm at least. I wonder if I'd have ascended by now if I was still back in Greece...

Thinking of home while I walk across the desert, I notice a few pitfalls in the ground.

Better avoid those. If it was walking around freely I could probably reason with it, but one hunting prey would be hard to deter.

I make sure there isn't anyone around before taking a few steps forward and being to jump across the desert, using clouds of dust as step-holds. I continue my new form of travel until I notice a cavern that calls out to me.

This might be promising.

I head into the cave, keeping an eye out for any creatures that would ambush me. After exploring the cave for a bit, I notice a hole in one of the walls. Walking towards it, I see a pair of eyes glint in the dark. I begin to get a bit closer, stopping once the creature begins to prepare to pounce. I tap the floor, raising a throne of sand from the ground that I sit back on. This display of power confuses the creature, it clearly being surprised at a human being able to perform such a feat. Knowing that now I have its attention, I make my pitch.

"I come from a place that's far away from this cave. It's possible that you could search your entire life and never find it. I am a philosopher. I'm not sure if that term holds the same meaning here, but in my homeland it means that I am one who defies fate. I cultivate my soul by nourishing my body and mind, so that I may ascend and throw off the shackles that destiny has placed on me."

The creature crawls out of the hole as my eyes gleam with fervor.

"Every cultivator has their own path, their meaning for strength. It is the stars in the sky that chart their path, the wind that fills the sails of the boat that is their soul. My path is that of self-understanding. My entire journey is for the sake of knowing myself to the fullest measure. To that end, I will take the entire world onto myself so that I can point myself out from it."

I pull out a Luxury Ball and hold it out to the Pokemon in front of me.

"The journey to ascendance is filled with danger and peril. I can't make a guarantee that either one of us will survive it. But I know that my virtuous heart wouldn't be able to stand it if I tried to live a life that was anything less. Don't you agree?"

The Pokemon is silent, then nods as it presses the button on the ball. The Luxury Ball opens up as a red beam of light splashes over the Pokemon and sucks it into the ball. The ball closes in my hand before wobbling once, twice, and then stopping with a click. I look at the ball in my hand while grinning.

"Welcome to the team."

I pocket the ball in the BB and continue to look around the cave but don't find anything of interest.

Hmm...I think I'm done with this area for now. I might come back later. The next stop should be....Iron Island.

I head outside the cave and make a mini rock elevator on the entrance's wall to the top of the area. Once I reach it, I transform and begin flying in the direction that BB tells me to go. After several hours of flying and spamming a technique that allowed me to rapidly increase my speed in short bursts, I eventually reached the island. Once I touched down in an area that looked like no one was around, I released my transformation and began to look for my target. The sound of rocks being smashed draws my attention and after I cross a few outcrops, I see a man wearing a blue hat and cloak next to a pokemon with blue fur standing amongst several chunks of shattered boulders.

That energy they're covered in. That must be Aura. Excellent.

I begin to walk closer as the two notice me.

"Hello, you must be the Aura Guardians I heard were on this island. My name is Silas, pleased to make your acquaintance."

The two look surprised at my knowledge of their occupation. The man speaks up.

"I'm Riley and this is Lucario."

He gestures to his Pokemon as he talks.

"Not too many know about the Aura Guardians. What brings you here?"

I smile.

"I simply wish to learn how to use my aura. I figured an Aura Guardian would be the best way to learn that."

Riley nods.

"You'd be right. Normally most people these days don't have the ability to control their Aura to the capacity needed to become a Guardian...but your Aura is strange. I think you might be able to do it."

I step forward, eager to begin my training.

"So where do I start?"

Riley holds a hand out.

"Before we begin, I have to make something clear. Aura is a great power, capable of many things. It could be used for good or evil, as all power is. With so few Guardians in the present day, a rouge master of Aura would be a real menace. Do you swear to not misuse your power and only administer it for the sake of helping others?"

I place my hand over my heart, eyes becoming serious.

"Unless it's self-defense, I swear on my virtuous heart to only use my Aura for the sake of others."

Riley stares into my eyes for a moment before nodding.

"Alright, then we can begin."


A few hours later, I'm wincing as I bandage my arms and sides with the upper half of my robes off as Lucario and my first Pokemon are training in the background.

"This pain is progress, this pain is progress, this pain is progress."

Riley chuckles slightly as he hears me muttering to myself.

"Sorry, but I wouldn't have gone so far if you hadn't improved so quickly. Being able to sense your environment with your aura can take people days or even weeks but in this one session you managed to get to the point where I asked Lucario to get involved. Your rapid advancement truly is frightening."

I stand up, wincing again.

"Alright, I think I have the hang of that, what else can I do with Aura?"

Riley lights up his body with Aura.

"We worked on your ability to read the environment, now we're going to work on your ability to read other living beings."

I get into my stance and charge my Aura as Riley rushes at me.



I watch the sun set as I flex the dirt and dust off my robes.

"Are you sure? You've made amazing progress for just a day, but you've only just established your foundations. If we spent some more time, I'm sure you could really go far in developing your Aura."

I turn to Riley as I recall my Pokemon.

"I'd love to spend my time here and fully master my ability to use Aura, but I'm working against a clock. As it is, there are only so many dishes I can sample before they all spoil. I'm picking up new tricks and working on them as I can. But I'll definitely come back, and maybe then we can spar and see what I've managed to develop my aura into. Are you going to stay on this island?"

Riley nods and smiles.

"Yeah, I'm doing a study on the Steel-types found here and refining my skills. We'll have the match when we come back, and I'll remind you of the difference between experience and talent."

I chuckle as I wave to him and his Lucario as I begin to walk away. Once I've escaped eyesight, I teleport back to Wan Shi Tong's Library.

Huh, It's been a few seconds and he hasn't shown up. Wonder if he's sleeping.

I let my Pokemon out of the ball after picking up some scrolls from the other elements for myself and then walk over to where the Earthbending scrolls were located.

"I think these would be a good fit for you. Try and practice the forms, but don't actually go forward with them. We don't want to get banned from here because you accidentally destroyed a shelf."

The Pokemon nods and then turns to look at the scrolls but stops once I put a hand on the equivalent of its shoulder. I turn my starter around and look him in the eyes.

"I was thinking, I wouldn't want to be just called a human or a Greek all my life, so I figure I should call you by something other than Gible. You need a proper name. I was reminded of a story a foreigner once told me about a greedy dragon that lived in a cave. And what are we cultivators, if not greedy? So, I shall name you by the same name that dragon had. Fafnir."

Fafnir has a glint in his eye as he hears the name.

"I can tell you like it. Good. Fafnir it is. I'll let you get back to your studies."

As he heads back to focus on his scrolls, I turn my attention to mine.

Fire, Water, and Air. I have got my work cut out for me. Well, no place to start other than the beginning.

From the Mega Satan room, Apocrypha spirals into a void and ends up in an extremelly trip-inducing place, an amalgamation of all the floors he's been at combined into one.

But, the enemies aren't too hard, though he find a living portal which is nice, so he quickly menages to get himself to the boss room, in which he finds a double Cage ... Uh, anyway, both rotten ball of flesh busted, Apocrypha realizes that nothing is happening ... wait what ?

He exists the room and re-starts exploring, finding another boss roam, Bloat, nukes it ... still nothing.

This repeats 4 more times as he got an XL Floor, at which points he finally finds the correct room, face to face against the giant face-blob-white mess that is Delirium.

Reasonably pisses, Apocrypha immidiatly jumps at the creature, but it dissapears before it can properly damage it. Quickly turning too look around, it finds a goopy demon behind himself which opens up it's mouth to shoot a brimstone beam. Ducking under the blood laser, The Apochrypha dashes towards the creature and grapples it, supplexing it into the ground, immidatly after which the creature teleports away as a foot stomps on the eldrich knight. Quickly getting up, he spots the enemy having turned into a giant maggot-like being, with the Apochrypa being reacting by blasting it with a colossal burst of tear projectiles. Afterwards it turns into the pale rider and summons a 4 scythes that home into the knight while shooting projectiles all around itself, , with apochypha using he burrowing ability gained from eaten enemies to go underground to avoid the attacks and then emerge right under where Delirioum was ... but missing as it teleported to a corner of the room, now being back in his true self and spamming danmaku even more. Apochypha this time weaves and waves around the attacks while shoots giant beams of blood from it's mouths at the creature for massive damage. This is followed by the creature spamming teleportation and shapechange while filling the ENTIRE room with projectiles, which genually pisses off the Apochypha which does a mad dash to the Delirium whle growing his arm to massive size and punts it to the groound with great force, over and over and over and over again, with the creature attempitng and fialing to get him off itself by teleporting, as it gets ******* mashed into a pulp.

"I have seen only a creature of iron attempt to protect this place and killing the villagers is not plan only the iron one if necessary everyone else will be tricked into thinking we saved them this requires your monsters to attack the village of course I wouldn't force them to all the work we will join them once we get the villagers to safety." I say. "Just follow my lead."

Running towards the village with a panicked look on my face.
