This will most likely become irrelevant after the Universal Survival Arc and the revisions are done but I wanted to get your opinions on this.
A lot of people called BS on the Bergamo absorbing the power need to take (only for a little) SSBKK Goku's Kamahamaha because he was struggling with and being hit around by SS Goku.
I think Bergamo was only playing around with Goku, my only reason for saying this is Bergamo's ability.
He takes the damage he receives and turns it into his own power. This gives him a boost in strength, durability and size but a loss in speed.
Bergamo needs to take damage in order for him to turn it into his power. Thus after his brief tussle with Goku he told Goku to hit him. Goku then begins striking him making him stronger after a few more hits Goku decided to go SS and go ham on Bergamo and he keeps getting stronger and bigger. Finally Goku uses SSBKKxUnknown and fires his Kamahamaha and Bergamo briefly blocks it then reaches his limit and reverts back to normal size.
Now if I remeber correctly no where did you see Bergamo unless aura until he say Goku go Blue and unless his beam. Most likely Bergamo believed he wouldn't be able to take it so he unleashed all his energy to try and stop it. Yes he couldn't sense Goku's Ki in Blue but neither could Hit but he still sense Goku or he could have heard the GoD say "Power rivaling that of the gods" and went all out to be safe.
Obviously this it a complete assumption that Bergamo was holding back letting Goku damage him so that he can gain a lot of power. True Goku would have to hit him a bagillion amount of times for him to go from 4-B to 3-A but you know how fiction doesn't give a crap about math.
Anyway what do you guys think about my assumption, Is it possible or not?
