These two evil geniuses are in conflict with each other over their mutual desires to conquer the world. As a twist, this is not a battle pitting their robots and weapons against each other. The two will be having a physical battle. Mandark gets his spellbook while Eggman gets a raygun. Battle is in an open field. Speed is not equalized. Mandark's winning condition is banishing Eggman with his spellbook. Eggman's win condition is incapacitating Mandark, either by knock out or exhausting Mandark of stamina. Neither are capable of killing the other due to Eggman's durability and Mandark's regeneration. Mandark CAN be exhausted, as seen in his fights with Dexter, who has managed to defeat him despite his regeneration.

Mandark
Eggman

Very interesting match up. Eggman lacks direct physical combat experience so the most he is capable of doing here is relying on his mechs

Meet 'JoJo' in Dexter's Laboratory (DL S01E36)
This clip shows how quickly Mandark can cast the spell to banish beings. Because Eggman is far more durable than him, this is Mandark's only real chance of winning under the conditions of this fight. The question is if he can hit Eggman with the magic energy beam to banish him before Eggman either knocks him out or exhausts him of all his stamina. Eggman has the reaction advantage, but how fast can he move his body? Could he dodge the beam?

How in character is it for him to use it? Just because we know Eggman is stronger doesn't mean Mandark will know he's stronger than him

Sorry it's been so long. Been busy. Anyway, Mandark only used the spell once. Not very in character. I am trying to alleviate this by having him go into the battle with the book and nothing else. The question is if Mandark is durable enough for his stamina to last long enough for him to realize he cannot defeat Eggman unless he uses the book before Eggman either knocks him out or exhausts him. What do you all think?

Eggman FRA.

He would do what he did to Starline in the IDW comics and slam Mandark down on the ground.

I don't think Mandark can really compete with Eggman. While Mandark is smart in terms of science and all that, in terms of battle strategy, he kind of falls flat. He is just a kid and really prone to making rash and sometimes stupid decisions. And yeah, magic isn't in character for him to use at least right away. Meanwhile Eggman is a competent battle strategist and has a lot more weapons at his disposal. Though, Mandark is due for some revisions in the future like Dexter. Especially with his Future Self with the Neurotomic Protocore. But for now, I think it's safe to say Eggman FRA.
