He starts his fights by increasing the damage of his attack, then pretty much attacking his opponent with it

He won't fear any attacks coming from his opponent since he has a high chance of dodging attacks

Can increase the damage of his attack by 2^# depending on how many Hands successfully land in a row (Easily was able to get 14 Heads before stopping so he could just deal the blow at an opponent, so he can get more than 14 Heads casually)

https://imgur.com/a/JsHY443
Can dodge attacks coming at him (said attacks would one shot him), which the benefit is also given to his friend You Ji-Soo

https://imgur.com/a/gEjQG4v
Has critical hits all the time, which the benefit is also given to his friend You Ji-Soo

https://imgur.com/a/cYDrzLk
Can also dodge homing attacks

What does Baki have in this key? If I remember correctly, this one is one of his weaker keys in terms of pretty much everything

His Powers and Abilities literally only have 2 Tabs and I've never read Grappler Baki so there's no way for people who don't know about Baki Hanma to know, meaning I have no answer to that

I'll get other supporters for Grappler Baki though...

Endorphins is always nice, and pressure points can always be helpful, no matter what kind. This Baki did the "travel around the world for several years beating martial arts masters" thing, right?

Right on. I'll reserve my vote in lieu of further argument, but that's a big bonus to Baki's side of the argument for sure

This Baki would still have toned down versions of a lot of his later abilities. He's not just limited to Endorphins and pressure points.

He has minor fear manipulation via his aura at this point as shown against Mount Toba. It's not as good as later on in the series but it'll help. His body control and power mimicry are also still very effective at this point. Hell, he can even use Benda whip since we know that Yujiro taught it to Baki when he was a kid. Baki's senses are also extremely advanced, at this point he could still easily predict his opponents moves and sense "danger".

Not sure how any of this would work on Kim.

  • Most skilled/experienced comfortably goes to Baki Hanma I guess
Although Kim Tae-Hyun should have some skills/experience since he could keep up with the strongest Players with nothing but a Blacksmith Job in the previous Game

  • Stat Amp which amplifies his stats by an unknown amount, but should be helpful
The attacks of Kim Tae-Hyun will be critical hits all, if not most, of the time due to his Luck so this should help him out in dealing serious blows at Baki Hanma

Not to mention he can increase the damage of his attacks by 2 times at a minimum to however high as he can get, depending on how many 2^# he gets (Meaning if the # was 77 or he rolls Heads 77 times in a row then his attacks will be amplified by 1.51115727e23 times). So he could potentially literally one-shot Baki Hanma and since he has like 2,500 Luck he can pretty much also roll more than 14 times (Since that's the highest we've seen him roll although he only stopped there since he thought it was enough, meaning he can roll higher than that and that was when he had less than 960 Luck)

  • Pressure Points is helpful depending on his mastery with it
Should be countered by since Kim Tae-Hyun has Luck which pretty much lets him dodge attacks, even homing attacks

tl;dr - Kim Tae-Hyun has some skills/experience, guaranteed Critical Hits, increase his damage by a wide gap, and guaranteed Dodging Rate due to his Luck alone

Oblivion Of The Endless said:
I dont think Baki will use Benda here nor the other stuff as much, since, well, he never used in BoS even when at dangerous situations
Tbf, he never uses it in the while series save 2 situations: against Yanagi for the Hanma-style flex and against Yujiro because he was so much stronger. If the AP gap is big enough, he might be more likely to use it, right?

Yeah, but, he doesnt know how strong Kim is. He would have to check that by himself by trading some blows, which might be a issue depending on how far the AP gap is

I think due to the AP gap you might wanna change this to Maximum Tourney Baki. Rn he gets one shot by anything that hits him head on. He's only baseline after all.

Done

If there's no direct number for his AP though, then stat amps probably won't matter since there's still a gap between at least 10x

@BakiHanma

Yeah he's about equal to Retsu so vastly above 0.035 tons

Now he won't be getting one shot so he might be able to analyze Kim better at the start of the fight.

Baki Hanma - 0.035 Tons / Retsu Kaioh pulverizes a wall

Kim Tae-Hyun - 0.05 Tons / Kim Tae-Hyun destroys a wall

0.05 / 0.035 = 1.42857143 , so Kim Tae-Hyun is stronger by 1.42857143x

So how does Baki Hanma fare with

  • Kim Tae-Hyun has some skills/experience since he could keep up with the strongest Players with nothing but a Blacksmith Job in the previous Game
  • The attacks of Kim Tae-Hyun will be critical hits all, if not most, of the time due to his Luck so this should help him out in dealing serious blows at Baki Hanma - https://imgur.com/a/cYDrzLk

Baki is vastly above 0.035, so no, they're likely the same in AP, with the difference in strength being negligible. Baki outskills most martial arts masters on Earth, has many locks, holds, grapples, pins, and throws, he has 2 amps when damaged and heavily damaged respectively that amp all of his stats by 2x and then by 4x, he has Endorphins to completely neg the feeling of pain, Roll Kick, a move where the user rolls in the direction of an on-coming attack and kicks the opponent at the same time, Goutaijutsu, which is a punch that can almost oneshot people with comparable stats, Benda (though IC it's unlikely that he uses it), Aiki to reflect all of Kim's attacks, Mach Punch, a Supersonic punch, Cord-Cut, which rips nerves out of the opponent to debilitate their movement as blind them, as well as Info Analysis and Analytical Prediction to help with the dodges, a Sixth Sense to tell Baki how strong Kim is, and even Willpower Projection to bring Baki back to life if he were to die of pressure points or choking, or Willpower Projection to project Kim, fight him, figure out how to beat him, and win.

It's too damn long, so I made a tl;dr

Show
Kim Tae-Hyun can casually roll 14 Heads in a row, increasing the potency of his attack by 16,384, which gave him the 0.05 Tons feat.

Just rolling 15 Heads in a row would increase the gap between them by 2x, with 16 Heads in a row would increase the gap between them by 4x, and with 17 Heads in a row making the gap 8x, and so on with each Heads in a row

And he has no problems rolling higher than 14 Heads in a row since when he got 14 Heads in a Row, he had 900+ Luck and the only reason why he stopped at 14 Heads in a row was that he thought it was enough to kill the Goblin Leader, which implies that he could've gotten higher. And now he has 2,500 Luck so it'll be even easier for him to go above 14 Heads in a row than ever before

Baki's martial arts is useless if KTH's Luck will keep on letting him dodge it without him needing to do anything as seen when he somehow dodged a Wolf's back attack when he wasn't even aware of it, arrows missing their shot at him, huge saws not hitting him, falling rocks not hitting him, 3 Goblins trying to attack him, dodging numerous homing attacks, and a fireball. Said homing attacks and fireballs would've normally one-shot him due to the level difference between him and the Players yet he dodge it. He doesn't even need to move to dodge since based on the images, the System itself will be taking care of the attacks coming at him due to the fact that he has a lot of Luck

Baki's stat amps that increases his stats by 2x and 4x is useless if they require him to be damaged and heavily damaged when the only damage that he'll get from KTH will be something that will be one-shotting him due to the 4x/8x/16x/etc. difference, unless you're telling me he can somehow stat amp himself when he's dead

Endorphins is useless if he's dead once hit

Roll Kick is useless due to KTH's insane dodge rates

Goutaijutsu is useless due to KTH's insane dodge rates

Aiki is useless if he can't reflect something that's above his paygrade

Mach Punch is useless due to KTH's insane dodge rates and speed is equalized

Cord-Cut is useless due to KTH's insane dodge rates

Info Analysis and Analytical Prediction is useless since KTH himself isn't doing the dodging

Sixth Sense is ambiguous since the picture given in his Profile doesn't tell him how strong his opponent is, but the danger coming at him

Willpower Projection is also ambiguous since his Profile states that they just bring themselves back to life (After dying, Baki projected his willpower to bring himself back to life. Baki also replicated this ability again during his fight with his father, and even his dead Grandfather was able to project himself during their fight). Also he'd need to have a past confrontation with him if he wants to figure out how to beat him as he has no information about how KTH fights

tl;dr - Rolling above 14 Heads in a row will pretty much let KTH one-shot Baki since he can casually get 14 (Which gives him the 0.05 Tons feat), so getting 16 will increase their gap by 4x and getting 16 widens the gap even higher by 8x.

  • Baki's marial arts is useless since KTH himself isn't the one dodging the attacks but the System is making anything that comes in his way miss, hence why he can dodge the attacks coming his way, which also works on homing attacks.
  • Baki's stat amps is useless if it requires him to be damaged and also since the only blow that he'll be receiving is something that will one-shot him
  • KTH's insane dodge rates nullifies the following - Roll Kick and Goutaijutsu and Mach Punch (Also speed is equalized) and Cord-Cut and Info Analysis and Analytical Prediction
  • Endorphins is useless if he's dead once hit and so is Aiki if he can't reflect something that's above his paygrade

The system sounds quite NLF. What are it's limitations?

Their AP gap is nowhere near to being conducive to a oneshot

Still gunna need an explanation on the System's limits

Aiki is like 7-C, so...

Yes, he realizes that that guy is dangerous, that's what his Sixth Sense does

I don't see how that's ambiguous at all, he literally does as you just said

Info Analysis and Analytical Prediction= everything Kim is going to do

Can flip a coin to gain an increase in his attack and resetting his skills' cooldown depending on how many Heads he lands

This only works 50% of the time

Can get quests easily and open locks with a broken steel nail and has a high chance of landing a Critical Hit, dodging, and getting numerous drops easily

This is only a high chance

Has a huge amount of Luck due to being the incarnation of the Progenitor of Luck and the God of Gamblers, Archisus

Also a chance-based power

So far, I'm not seeing anything that's stops any of what I talked about earlier, but his profile may just need updating

Their overall statistics are pretty close, I'd say, except in the close combat skill department. It really depends on whether or not Kim can beat Baki before he completely memorizes his fighting style and property counters it.

This only works 50% of the time

  • You missed the point where he literally flipped 14 Heads in a row and that's him stopping at that point cause he thought it'd be enough, which literally implies that he could've rolled higher, and that's when he had less than 1,000 Luck. He now has 2,500 Luck so he's rolling higher than that
This is only a high chance

  • That's a downplay to his Luck. Explain to me how you can literally open a locked treasure chest with a broken steel; have you even tried doing that? How you can land Critical Hits 5 times in a row casually, and this is him one-shotting his opponents so he'd be landing higher than that if it wasn't for the lack of his enemies that he can test it out on. How you can dodge an attack that's literally coming from someone who is 1 meter away from you 8 times in a row without moving
Also a chance-based power

  • That's just a Class that he got after reaching 2,500 Luck. Have you played RPGs? Luck is part of the stats

I don't think any of y'all even at any of my replies

Kim Tae-Hyun seems to have the advantange with his his insane luck here since with just 900 luck he could easily do a 14 Heads and now here he has 2500 luck, it would be a lot easier and likely higher.

It's not truly a stomp since Baki can defeat him if he someway get him in a combo several times but low chance with that luck.

Only 13 chapters have been released and I speed-read through them just now. Kim literally doesn't get hit and his crit is low-key insane. Also, there doesn't seem to be a limit to it unless someone is overwriting the system itself(That's usually how the protag is beaten in these kinds of comics).

By System, I meant the System for the VRMMORPG, cause his Profile is based off of his Character from the game

Yes, I figured as much, but to say he can't get hit is NLF. There has to be an instance in which something could hit him
