Well, pretty much the same i said before. Mel has AP advantage, regen, darkness cant be negated by Asta's antimagic, a way better fighter, can use Lostvayne's clones to give Asta some troubles even if just to create an opening. My vote is for Mel.

Dakrness is really ambiguous. In Ch 185 Estarossa refers to it as magic

I still vote Mel for my above stated reasons, but argue that Darkness should still constitue as magic

I still think darkness isn't useful here since in-charater he only uses it to reattach his limbs or create wings and is passively nullified if it's energy.

Demons could use darkness when they first broke out of the seal and had zero magic power. Also, God was unable to negate Meliodas's darkness.

Meliodas uses darkness to attack, not only to fly or reattach limbs. He has boosted his punches against Gloxinia and Fraudrin, also used it to boost his sword against Escanor or to use Kami Chigiri (Divine 1000 Slices), also used Darkness against the DK. Also used darkness to attack Galand.

If God didnt negate Mel's darkness, Asta wont either.
