Good afternoon, gentlemen, and welcome to the second match of our tournament, this should be interesting... I have already given your chosen contestants the appropriate amount of preparation and the full appearance of their opponents, I do hope they dont disappoint."

"Your contestants will fight in a city that has been evacuated, don't mind the police and military still there, They will be overpowered and killed, I'm sure... with each secter I have supplied a vareity of weapons.

To the North there are melee weapons of all kinds, on the ground, in stores, everything, I'd be warned that the various humans are more active here however, they, as I said before will be crushed.

To the West, you will find small arms such as pistols of all kinds and various robots to recruit, I'd note they are 4x weaker than what your submissions will be, and most likely far more clunky, this is also the most tight sector, you will find narrow corridors and the like here quite a bit, so I do reccomend you be careful about the melee and stealthy characters.

To the East, there will be rifles of every kind, sniper, assault, you can name it and it'll be there. this is the most sparse sector, but there is a lot of cover, good for a shoot out.

And to the South, you will find all of the explosives you would ever require, of all kinds except for the nuclear and airstrike vareity.

There will be cars and the like around, no tanks however, but just enough to have a vehicular shoot out, and you may choose one vehicle for your characters to start with if you so desire."

victory by death or incap.

Freddy starts in the East Sector and Golem in the North Sector

this is a flat Iron Golem.

Two hours of prep and prior knowledge on the opponent's appearance and the city are given.

Both charaters are equalized to fracturing steel walls, the stronger characters' LS, and Transonic speed

Iron Golem: 2

Freddy Fuckboy: 0

Inconclusive: 0

Hate timezones, this went up when I went to bed.
Alright, so to start off since stats are equalized attacking feats don't really matter I'm guessing.
First, strategy. The iron golem doesn't really have one lol. While the profile is for regular Minecraft, I'll just use an example from story mode since it is consistent with the limited animations from the main game. While the golems show a preference for throwing opponents into the air to restrict movement options, they just kinda flail their arms until things die.

the golem is class 50 ls so I think they can fling freddy at least

Isn't the Ls equalized?

yes, but i was more talking about the fact that both can fling each other now, and the golem has shown a preference to doing that. if it was equalized to freddy then neither could really move each other. also the golem is simply heavier than freddy if we get down to it. the golem is much taller than a human, much stockier, and made of solid iron. freddy is as tall or just a bit taller than a human, and mostly hollow in his suit, just the endoskeleton and crossbeams

Another thing I want to bring up is their ability to fight injured. I understand that dura is equalized, but their physiology gives an advantage to the golem in this regard. even with type 2 immortality, freddy is still a robot with joints, servos, wires, and things that need to be in good condition to function, but the golem doesn't have that. the golem is more described as living metal. they can crack and fracture, but they still move even when heavily damaged. They can't survive infinitely like freddy, but in the event that both are crushed to a molten heap, the golem will still be able to wiggle and move while freddies limbs just won't function.

I wouldn’t say they need to be in good condition to work. Animatronics like Spring trap has a rotting corpse in it, is over 40 years old, likely rusty, and has survived a couple of fires and the endosketon still seems to function.

good point, but springstrap is barely functional and is a springlock suit, he doesn't have a traditional endoskeleton. i was more talking about blunt force. the joints might work when gummed up or burnt, but being bent out of shape would be a lot more damaging. just my thoughts tho

In a situation where all physical stats (strength, durability, and speed) are equal, there are other situations that we should account for.

Intelligence-wise, they both aren't the brightest since both wander about and rush to attack whatever they perceive as a foe. I'd assume the Golem might have a slight advantage since the Golem was designed from the get-go to defend against creatures while Freddy mostly wanders the place through curiosity. Sure, Freddy will hide in dark areas when he could, but unlike Bonnie and Chica, who hung around the doors or hid beneath the guard's feet when near the player, Freddy just went at the player when the target is locked. No doubt the Iron Golem is gonna capitalize that, especially considering its used to fighting in dark environments (nighttime, caves if you spawn one in there).

At first glance, it would seem that Freddy has an obvious advantage in that he has hands to grab with, but thing is even with the apparent handlessness, most Minecraft mobs with arms are capable of carrying stuff despite the lack of digits. I don't think that's gonna stop an Iron Golem from being able to grab, let alone throw Freddy.

Now, I know weaponry is provided, but in-character, Freddy wouldn't know how to use a weapon, and the Iron Golem very likely wouldn't care, so that's bust.

Now the meat of where the Iron Golem would take this involves how our combatants look. See, the Iron Golem is a solid bulk of iron with no noticeable weak spots anywhere on its body. Freddy, on the other hand, has joints that would expose parts of his endoskeleton, which would be an animatronic's vitals. Should the Iron Golem hit one of Freddy's weak spots, no doubt Freddy's gonna get hurt real bad. Bear in mind, the Iron Golem had defeated common nighttime mobs like the skeleton (something that requires a little more precision than a normal human to hit), so I do believe it's possible.

Now, Freddy does have Type 2 immortality, but the thing is once Iron Golem damages Freddy hard enough like William Afton had, all that's gonna be left is the crying child, and in-character, the child is very unlikely to attack Iron Golem due to the child's depressed state and his/her grudge against William Afton. Most likely the child would leave to seek out Afton.

All and all, I firmly think the Iron Golem wins in a stats-equal situation (which is similar to what cinematics normally play off anyhow).
