So this may be a problem for Melmetal as Patchouli has Royal Flare which is basically an AoE fire attack which Melmetal is weak to. But it might be possible Meltan could paralyze Patchouli with Thunder Wave.

also it does say that melmetal has a bigger range. tens of kilometers instead of meters.
