In late celebration of Index S3's honestly pretty rushed right now. I present to you the challenge to drugged up as much of your scientific knowledge as humanly possible, to create the best To Aru's style ability as you nerd can. Ex:
Name: Mass Field
Explanation: It's the ability to manipulate the Higgs Field in a given area around him, capable of giving or taking the Higgs Boson out of any object around the user, thus either giving or remove mass from it. The user could then freely manipulate the weight of anything, from crunching an object to it own weight, to disintegrate an object by turning it's particle into massless particle, in which, carrying the principle of E=MC2, would trigger a massive explosion to even the most tiny of object if left unchecked. However, the user could also endowed "mass" to otherwise massless particle, changing an incoming beam of light into particle, thus suggesting that the user is actually changing how the field interact with particle.
Limitation: Due to conservation of energy, the user can't just given mass out of nowhere, and instead having to transfer it from a local source of energy available, by turning and directing. Without enough calculation, the user can't actually control what kind of massed or massless particle is created, from the action of giving or taking the Higgs Boson.

Weapon:
- Mirror Gun: A gun without a nozzle, coated with highly reflective material on the inside of the barrel. Using specially designed bullet in a form of mini pellet, the gun would act as a sealed laser chamber, continuously having the newly formed photon bouncing back-and-forth, until the nozzle is open on the other side, and a high-energy laser is come out at the other end, burning any object in sight.
