8-C Monster Brackets Round 13

This is the moment. Also, as discussed earlier, Ill go update Mirelurk's acid range as its outdated. Ill go debate soon.

Huh, managed to rediscover this. Time to add another tourney win, even if the OP is long gone from the wiki...

Anyways, Azurill should be able to take this via having over 3 times higher AP, 1.6x the durability, and being a harder opponent for the Queen to hit due to it literally being 8 inches tall, not to mention even harder thanks to Critical Dodger. While it is true that it is naive, it can still defend itself when it sees this freakish threat coming at it, not to mention the Queen relies on getting into close range (even with its range advantage via acid) to attack due to its low intelligence, but that means Azurill can get into its range and spam moves like Fake Tears and Tail Whip to lower its defenses, lower its attack with Charm, and reduce its speed with Bubble Beam. By getting closer, it Azurill is even capable of putting it to sleep with Sing, confuse it with Supersonic, or forcibly make it continue its physical attacks if it does them with Encore.

All-in-all, the Mirelurk Queen may have the range advantage, but the fact its intelligence lets it move close up to Azurill to get into its range means it made a fatal mistake when it realizes Azurill is too hard to hit due to size differences and pretty much takes every other category.

Voting Azurill

Wow, you're still motivated to bumping this to get this cancelled tournament done for good. I appreciate it.
