That's a massive assumption. Do you have the proof that he is on that level? If not then we're going off what he has currently right now, not what he might have that no one has proof for at the time.

Thanks can learn about Darkseid's abilities with precog and cosmic awareness. They can't really do much to each other since Darkseid is too big to affect and thanos resists the abilities of several abstracts.

Darkseid could control thanos with conceptual mind manipulation, however it's not specified how he captures the black racer.
