Darkshine said Garou was inferior to Bang. But then Garou started overwhelming him and could actually make him bleed. Darkshine said he wasn't hurt at all by Bang even though he throttled him.

It's likely Bang wasn't using abandonment since he only uses that when he has the intent to kill. It's iffy.
