Touma can probably sense GER's movements but he cannot see him, so he's more likely to get a fist through his gut.

GER can't set IB to zero either so if he punches Giorno he wins.

But all in all, Touma is losing because he can't see GER but if he touches GER, Giorno dies. So...

Everyone could see Coronzon's soul, I don't think that's a clear indication of seeing someone's actual life-force. Coronzon's soul was just forced into the physical realm.

I'm pretty sure that even if Touma nullifies GER and makes it disappear, Giorno can just re summon it. If Touma nullifies a golem, that doesn't stop the mage from just going and summoning another one

During attack rush it would be hard to counter attack GER. Also he can affect the Stand with IB but not Giorno himself. If Giorno starts with life-making/energy blast and see Touma nullifying I think he will understand what's going on.
