Honestly Guts seems to outhax Thorfinn to shit,analytical prediction + probability manipulation provide him a good edge over thorfinn.

The AP seems nearly equal,irrc they scale to 100k joules. Guts has better LS too.

I’ll go for guts for now,he has better versatility overall and can physically overpower him on CQC

They have no hax. The probability manipulation is probably in-verse only, other stuff is fair tho, Guts is cunning as shit. Though worth to note, Thorfinn is way more agile (and I mean, waaay more agile) and forward thinking, because as a kid he already go toe to toe with Thorkell who's lightyears stronger than him, though Thorkell was at an size disadvantage. Still, Thorfinn's pretty galaxy-brained in combat, and has speed advantage here because speed in unequalized. So even if Guts wins, it's not going to be an easy match for him.
 
Guts' air manip isn't very much offensively applicable. It just works against weapons like whips. He could probably send a 10-B flying to Brazil, but someone comparable, nah.

His analytical prediction isn't bad but still, Guts has never fought with someone like Thorfinn, he's more used to large sized opponents. Hard to say what his analytical capabilities would be against such an enemy. Also another thing worth to note, Thorfinn is much more skilled at CQC than Griffith who could disarm Guts (when they were teenagers, however, Thorfinn still has much better CQC feats) and is an expert at reducing damage, so he could jump on his sword numerous times like Griffith did and reduce the impact of the blow.

Eh, but like with Griffith, Guts would know what he should do in that case. Man's willpower is immeasurable, he'll find ways.

Going to go with Guts with mediate to high difficulty. Better range and weapon + Extreme willpower and pain tolerance + Great analytical skill = Wins at least 6/10 times.
 
Well, younger Thorfinn did go through several fights with Thorkell who's not much different from Guts. I will count the votes
