Both seem to scale to baseline 10-A iirc since they are calcless

However, I'm going to have it to Phineas, especially with prior knowledge and his abilities to make complicated machines over the span of mere minutes.

He also posess far more hax options then AJ and can beat him with his inventions

AJ can likely give a damage to Phineas despite of PM, at least Bufort was able to kick him at first met in my mind let alone possibly more moments where Phineas had a problem. So I guess PM would work at time.

So the question is can AJ do something with Phineas during the building of machines?

No. SBA would make him willing to kill and fight. Other than that he remains normal

AJ can hurt him, yes, but AJ would probably will try to make machines of his own to battle Phineas that way. AJ isn't much of a brawler himself

AJ would also try to make his own inventions as well. He isn't much of a brawler himself and would probably want to rely on his machines more in this fight

It can happen, but that is very speculative. Maybe they fight, maybe AJ runs and Phineas goes after him to keep him in check and that hinders their ability to create things, maybe the roles are the other way around, or maybe they both run. Only if the latter happens we can reliably say it's machines vs machines, otherwise it's unlikely for more cases that they're going to properly create things, if at all.
