does not prevent him from being sealed or put to sleep so it would not help much, especially since mario will go with hax's once he sees the abysmal difference in power.

bloodlusted jiren would always have the barrier this big so that mario wouldn't even be able to see him and be able to target him properly with his hax, but im guessing mario has some OP hax anyway

mario's hax's don't even need to be aimed, or even physically stopped, so the barrier would be nothing for most of his hax's.
