Tbf Shadow outright implied that his Doom powers surpass Sonic's, and it doesn’t help when you consider Shadow going all out against Metal Overlord, Shadow’s line, “You will never reach his level,” sticking solely to base Sonic is nonsensical from a narrative perspective. Metal Sonic...
Also why can't we pull a classic sonic here like how it's in his profile? It's no different from Classic Sonic defeating modern enemies but returns weaker due to "Timeline correcting itself"
The problem is:
1)Base Sonic was implied that he wouldn't even be fast enough to react to it unlike Super Sonic who barely did, meaning he is way slower
2)An attack that will make you vanish WILL make you vanish regardless if you're on-guard or not, best-case scenario that it will badly damage...
Tbf Shadow was getting amped overtime in the game (Plus you can argue weakpoints because the little green thing that keeps glowing but I don't wanna be that guy)
Sorry but an attack that makes you vanish means it's leagues above you even on-guarding, also the whole sentence implied that Base Sonic wouldn't even be fast enough to react to it unlike Super Sonic who BARELY did, meaning it's way faster than him too
Also not being off-guard doesn't protect you from an attack that stated to make you "vanish" anyways
I could care less about the results of the thread but rather the way the arguments are presented
Honestly, I prefer this over what we actually got. It adds more depth to the story and makes tails’ character feel more pitiful, as classic Sonic (or something resembling Sonic) appears as a manifestation of his coping. It gives the narrative a more tragic and meaningful angle rather than the...
Dude, at this point, it’s pretty clear you’re either trolling or just way out of your depth here. are you an alt acc trying to stir the pot, or maybe just someone with too much time on their hands looking to get attention? Honestly, it’s not a good look. Take a moment, think things through, and...
Neither do you, but mine takes less assumptions because they made the effort to use them
Eggman can still lose with SS still having the bad future since all the other stages are saved + he lost the time stones
Which was retconned and still shows LP the same as it was on the good ending of...
It’s not just a simple asset re-use if they’re trying to maintain consistency with Sonic Gens. Stop pretending it’s a bigger deal than it really is. Sonic 4 shows Little Planet perfectly fine and unchained, with only Stardust Speedway eventually having the bad future. And even then, the future...
That's still what a retcon is so your extrapolating is irrelvent, Little Planet was shown to be freed in Sonic 4 and in its normal state, it just the Stardust Speedway was shown to have the bad future as its permanent one
That's literally what a retcon is (definition:the act, practice, or result of changing an existing fictional narrative by introducing new information in a later work that recontextualizes previously established events, characters, etc.), retcons were never supposed to always make sense
Also I’m lost, on one hand, Crisis City is said to come from the timeline (that never was) before the reset, thus hypertimeline. On the other hand, it’s argued that Crisis City exists as part of a separate, split timeline.
Idk but Bullying Infinite is based as **** and deserved, I hate how he is getting overhyped by some people, I love also the Metal Sonic SWEEP during the fight
Talking from a gameplay perspective" is a non-argument in this scenario, especially since many so-called anti-feats could also be dismissed as gameplay-related. Also, I don’t see how such blatant statement like “stronger than the last boss” is such a thing tbh
Mario is constantly shown to grow...
