To provide a bit more explanation, only their Ultimate Spell, Bao Zakeruga, can eat attacks and continue onwards in this key. And their attack reflection spell is a large, rectangular, electric shield that applies an electric shock to attacks that hit it and reflect it back with...
@Yung
I was only saying that Cyborg's statement on what the number given in verse was correct. Not that that value is actually accurate. A 1.72x boost is not enough to suddenly blitz a foe that was previously faster than you. That much is clear. Apologies if my comment was leading to the...
Outskill? Maybe.
Intangibility, while spammable, is normally used to evade attacks. He's usually tangible when attacking.
Destroying the heart is why I figured this would be fair.
And thank you very much for giving me your opinion. I may ask our resident Danny Phantom Expert to come comment.
Yeah. Cyborg is correct. 172% is the hard number, as given by my blog. Though apparently, it's enough to blitz/catch up physically.
Yung makes a good point on skill. Though, number of techniques known doesn't equate to skill at all. And there are certainly definitive skill feats in KHR. Such as...
I agree with PaChi2.
Physically, the text makes it clear that he's not comparable. It's stated in his battle to obtain his ranking position and, as Gabriel has pointed out, Kallavan bluntly says it.
But with his skills he's able to harm them. As is shown in this chapter.
It seems pretty...
I also have to ask a question, however. Are these high level characters skilled in using their magic? As that seems to be a completely different skill entirely when compared to wielding a sword.
I'm not questioning Yami's skill. But a major part in sharpening one's martial craft is through...
@Cyborg
Except in the future arc, Squalo is ten years older. So he's actually 32. And he likely has been training longer than Yami since hitmen are usually trained as children.
Also, that whole point about Yamamoto makes no sense. Teaching someone the "best sword style" is A) Subjective as...
Death and Destiny: It depends on the amount of prep they get. In both rounds 1 and 2 Sanura with setup (or probably any witch for that matter) can BFR him to a hell dimension which will destroy his soul. In the third rough, it gets far tougher. But the gods have hax that can deal with both of...
Also, I made a match with Zagred if anyone is interested.
And I have another match with Yami from a while ago if anyone would like to take a look.
Hopefully they're both enjoyable ones.
@MindControl
I guess I'm a bit curious. Squalo has comparable experience to Yami, if not more. And likely more varied in terms of those who fight with pure swordsmanship. What is your philosophy when it comes to characters that defeat those with more experience than they? Is that something you...
Yeah. SIU makes it pretty clear that Baam can only deal any kind of lasting damage to High Rankers either with the Red Thryssa's attacking mode, or while he's using his best skills + the thorn.
Only thing is, he has two thorns and hasn't actually bothered to use the second one for whatever...
I'm genuinely curious about how this will go. Plus, Vlad needs some more love.
Low 6-B forms.
Speed Equalized.
Battle takes place in Amity Park.
Starting distance is 30 meters.
Who wins!?
The Devil: 0
The Ghost: 3 (LordGriffin1000, CyborgSakumo, MindControl116)
Inconclusive: 0
What are Yami's skill feats? It's one thing I've always been curious about. If we're talking skill, then feats should be compared. As I don't recall Yami being comparable to say, Yamamoto who can, with a week of training, defeat the best swordsman in the world.
CQC is one thing. H2H is another...
I don't think there is a "non harmony flame xx-burner." All flames have attributes and the attribute of sky flames is harmony. It's not shown to be something he ever has to actively add to his flames. It honestly seems to be pretty passive, like the storm flames. Though, admittedly, this is...
I always see things about Yami's black moon.
Can I have a scan please, of what it can nullify. I always thought black hole and black moon were absorption, not power nullification (which Tsuna is resistant to anyway, iirc). I'm a bit confused on how it can be used to outright stop Tsuna's...
Yeah.
I guess if its episode one he doesn't have his ranged attacks. And he is less skilled than Mirio. But his intangibility is much better. Especially since it leads to things like possession and he can actually maintain his senses while using it.
@Gabriel
Maybe? I mean, magic and shinsoo seem to be different things in verse. Since he seems to passively negate spells like Levy's question mark curse and the spell on Doom's heart. But he can't negate shinsoo effects. I'd like to say yes, though it would still just fall under power...
Yeah. But he's also 8-A. Two tiers above High 8-C (And many of them are lower than that). So a K.O is out of the question when they can't actually harm in the first place. And none of their hax is effective enough to do much to him here unfortunately.
Also, can Danny control whether or not his...
Actually, I didn't bother looking at the AP difference.
Danny is 8-A while most in class 1-A are 8-C or High 8-C. (Minus Todoroki's strongest attacks and OFA Deku/Bakugou). So, Danny one shots everyone. His attacks also affect the mind and soul so he would have one shot regardless.
Oof. I remember that cringy name.
No one in MHA has NPI from what I can recall. I'm pretty sure Danny can just phase through any attack thrown at him.
The question is, can he last long enough to take all of them out? I'm pretty sure they can all fight for several hours on end. Though he could...
@Gabriel
He had that ability listed long before the hidden floor arc. And I'm not sure if it's the actual properties of the Needle that allowed him to negate Data Zahard's regen. Considering that the hidden floor couldn't interact with Baam in various ways. Like seeing his past for instance. He...
Actually, that's a good question I've always been meaning to ask. Where does his regen negation come from? He can negate spells that grant Regenerationn, but I don't recall him negating regen as an actual ability while using the thorn.
@Enryu I'm somewhat unsure about the scaling chain. I'm not...
Also, may I have a link to the accepted multipliers for DBZ please? I always assumed they just used the kaioken multipliers, as well as the SSJ ones in the databooks. So I'm confused on where the range of values is coming from.
I remember that thread. Some of the supporters certainly ignored me when I told them that dirty fireworks is not at all in character. And I provided specific examples as well.
I'm certainly all for redoing the thread with the new information with regards to her AP. Since, initially at least...
I'm also unfollowing. I'd suggest that both of you do the same. You both disagree, are clearly heated, and must know that you will not reach a consensus any time soon. In part due to the aforementioned heat.
Simply agree to disagree and be done with it.
It definitely seems like it should be dura negation. Baam has the ability to control a practical infinite amount of shinsoo. But the density he can manipulate seems to be something he has to train in order to achieve. Given that the black hole sphere has a bunch of other weird things about it...
I agree with Butter here. That assumes that destruction cannot be caused from up close. Which isn't true. And honestly, he kinda sucks at his job given that he slept for so long and literally neglected destruction for so long a period, lol.
Beerus seems to have only used Hakai at range against something that was already deceased. Which isn't the case here.
If Beerus seemed more like to use hakai at range, then I would agree that he wins. But I'd rather go by what he's shown to do. As opposed to speculation. In particular since I'm...
I guess? I mean, if Scorpion's flames have a propensity for acting like regular flames, then I don't see why it wouldn't work. But if they burn the soul or something, then sure. I hear what you're saying.
We can scale his power and I guess abilities to weaker GoDs. But we can't scale his strategies. Just because Sidra uses it a long range doesn't mean that Beerus, Champa, Belmod, or any other GoD will (And note, Anti-Monitor is not a ghost). From what we've seen, Beerus opts for Hakai from up...
Has Beerus ever used his hakai at range? He normally seems to get up close to use it.
Though, regardless, I feel inconclusive is more likely here. Waves and hakai seem to work under similar time intervals.
