If gag reels are just canon alternate possibilities, how come you didn’t bring that xblaze thing up?

Because it's a jokey thing and Gag reels are about as non canon as you could get, with characters being flat out out of character from before just to add entertainment to the story. Terumi and Ragna being best friends despite their relationship in the main canon is the nail in the coffin for that.

Do you know why Sechs profile is so low? He should be 1-C like the rest of the high tiers in xblaze

His Low 1-C stuff is through Hax, the physical strength he scales to is through killing Black Beast Touya, who threatened to destroy the entire city. And Hinata isn’t physically Low 1-C since she’s mostly a human who has higher dimensional Hax.

So how come it isn’t on his profile? Atleast from what I can see it isn’t there

He’s not shown to destroy stuff on that level. In order to get a specific tier through Hax, you have to destroy that area or dimension with the hax, stuff like mindhax or power null won’t really count for a higher tier

With Kusanagi he’s able to tank the Embryos PI, so his durability should be atleast Low 1-C just like the rest of them

Not to mention he got so strong after every reset, the only way to defeat him was go in the past and destroy him. He was going to destroy the Embryo, and should have been strong enough past that point to do so tbh I could see a possibly low 1-C

That's resisting PI, that doesn't give you a tier, it would be a tier if he flat out survived the destruction of the multiverse and beyond with no regeneration or outside help to aid him.

The Embryo in question is a normal girl who isn't known for being physically strong, she again, only has hax on that level. If we're really pushing it, Unomaru, a normal professor with nothing to show he's as strong as Sechs or Ripper could potentially harm Hinata, that doesn't really mean he scales to Low 1-C.

Izanami stating she would struggle replicating Requiem's physical destruction of the Earth and the Moon (the thing that gave the CF cast 5-A to begin with), and Ragna's bad ending in CS where he turns into the black beast and destroys the planet. Same feat was also explained during the Prime Field War when the black beast went rampant back then. Considering you have everyone treat the Black Beast as top dog, and Terumi even mentions with his paradise of fear he'd surpass the Black Beast's strength, I don't really see how they'd get higher than planetary unless these gets retconned to being far beyond planetary.

That’s what I thought, however isn’t that feat in question not really 5-A? Past a certain point in CF most of the cast know that they’re in the Embryo, and in this conversation Kokonoe says that Requiem exploding would destroy their planet (weak end) However Kokonoe knows that they’re not on a “Planet” they’re inside the embryo, so any statement regarding the planet should be substituted with the Embryo instead.

They literally say the earth and moon were going to be destroyed, and the embryo was already done erasing the entire multiverse at that point. If they said the entire possibility then I can see where you’re coming from, but the fact Kokonoe mentioned the earth and moon being destroyed instead of the entire multiverse makes that feat not scale much higher.

Why isn’t crosstag seen as canon to Blazblue?

none of the events are remotely mentioned in any part of the series and Mori even said it's more of a what if than an actual canonical thing.

It's a what if at best, the fact that none of the other canon references cross tag as canon is proof that it's not canon. All the other stuff would've had some relevance, cross tag has none.

but wouldn’t that make sense, since all the other series finished way before cross tag was made? It would kinda be well, impossible for the other canons to reference crosstag when their main stories have concluded

That doesn’t exactly help the case though. No mentions of the events of cross tag being canon means they wouldn’t be capable of scaling. Xblaze, Phase Shift and Bloodedge all have heavy implications being legit canon to BlazBlue since one of the novels are flat out adapted into CPEX’s story, and the other two has characters from those novels being playable characters that show up in the story. If there’s any mention of Cross Tag’s events being canon then sure, but as of now there’s barely any.

Mori writing it is just moreso him throwing his hat into the ring with character interactions. Not exactly having canonical references. Hell Phase Shift 0 in comparison has Mori flat out say he considers the novel to be part of the story, so having any confirmation from word of god would help.
