  • I am currently preoccupied with a multitude of existing threads and real life issues. Unless I'm knowledgeable/interested enough about a verse (i.e Doctor Who, Evil Dead, Gunbuster, Godzilla, the CW, etc) to give genuine constructive criticism or approval, I probably won't give input. Also, I will make fun of you if you ask me to cover a Bleach or Naruto thread.
Hello. Can you please check it out? To all this, this comment is an addition.

I'm not really sure. Seems like you guys have it handled.

We are still discussing whether Garou's speed scales to Suiryu due to the game's VR (Not AP), whether Sonic scales above Darkshine in speed (In OVA, whose script is written by ONE, he's FTE for Metal Bat, Genos, Emperor's Child and Darkshine) and whether Iaian has a reaction speed to the Evil Natural Water (Reaction speed only).

Also, just now we had a topic about whether Melzagand scaled to Bang (The difference in their speed without scaling throw Bang hundreds of times. But at the same time he was able to hit him, although Bang was looking at him. But at the same time, Metal Bat, Prisoner and Iaian can fight Melzagand). Either the fact that the other S-class heroes are fighting Melzagand at equal speeds is an outlier, or the fact that Melzagand is scaled up to Bang is an outlier.

I don't really have an opinion, tbh.
Hey, you know why people think that grace> Glory, the truth is I can't find any but I would like to know your opinion

    ByAsura
I've literally never heard that before.

Sorry, I can't actually do the revisions, btw. The wiki keeps giving me a random editing thing on many profiles.
I know this is sudden, and it's probably not a verse you're very knowledgeable in, but can you give your opinion on this CRT?

I know nothing about Sonic, sorry.
    Idazmi
    Idazmi
That wouldn't even matter in this case, as this series is utterly different from the rest of Sonic. It was written before most of the current lore was established and is essentially it's own thing.

I don't know any sonic media is what I'm saying. Literally the only thing I know about the entire franchise as a whole is the names of a few characters, the Chaos Emeralds, and that it's about a fast-moving Hedgehog.

I could look into it, but I'm also doing a bunch of CRTs at the moment and I have some things to do in a few days. Sorry.
hello byAsura, how are you? I hope it's ok

I am working on a doctor who Crt, I was wondering if we can use Faction Paradox since I read the canon thread and got a bit confused.

is it canon or official through license but not Canon(in the style of DBGT)?

good, i will searching the scans that you mention to give acuasuality to the TARDISes then, unless you have those scans that I would appreciate if it were like this.

I'll have to look for them, but the statements about being similar to the Vortex is from Spacebattles (also, they're 5-D).

The scan is from Alien Bodies or The Taking of Planet 5, so you won't have to look far. Keep in mind that it's likely a highly advanced War TARDIS, as this is late into the War in Heaven and they stopped producing anything except War and Humanoid TARDISes on Gallifrey and its copies. But the statement does appear to be referring to TARDISes in general.
    • Today, the 91 -forms are the only standard (i.e. non-hominidsentient) timeships still being produced on the Homeworld. Indeed, apart from a few retrograde units they’re the only non-hominid timeships left in service. - The Book of the War
The Doctor's TARDIS is stated to have an 11-D matrix in The Doctor's Wife. All later TARDISes should be fitted with a similar, or even more advanced, matrix.

I haven't read the entire thread, and I know I'm late to the discussion.

It shouldn't be black and white. For example, if character A pushes to their absolute limit to lift an object that's 5 kg away from baseline Class 5 and character B effortlessly overpowers them, I'd say there's more than a reasonable enough case for upscaling B to Class 5. If character B is just vaguely stronger, then I'd say we rate them 'Class 1, possibly Class 5'.

This is the reason why Frieza is Small Star level+, despite falling short of that rating by ~7%, as Goku is far superior to a feat First Form Frieza performed with relatively little effort. However, scaling someone like Frieza to something like Star level is another matter, as there's no concrete numbers to support Goku being almost twice the strength of First Form Frieza, despite the massive amount of evidence in its favour.

Basically, it should be case-by-case. All or none just seems illogical here, and it seems everyone agrees currently.

This explanation doesn't really make sense to me. If Goku is far superior to a feat that's 7% short of Star level, why wouldn't he/Frieza be Star level? Jumping to Star level isn't being twice as strong, it's being 1.075x as strong.

    ByAsura
That's because you misunderstood what I was getting at. Sorry if I made it confusing.

100% Final Form Frieza is upscaled from Small Star level to Small Star level+ because 40 x 1.6 tenatons (Frieza's supernova feat) is 68 tenatons, and Small Star level+ is only 71.7855 tenatons. It's a slight gap of 5.567%, and base Goku is far superior to Frieza's 3rd Form, which is also vastly superior to his Second and First Forms.

68 tenatons to baseline Star level (136.066 tenatons), however, is a gap of just over 2x.

Ah okay I get it now. fwiw that's the sort of thing that the site seems unanimously against for a variety of reasons. Going to Star level would involve stacking multipliers on top of each other, and would require a 2x multiplier for one-shotting, far above anyone's suggested number in the thread.

I'm also against it. What I'm not against is the less than 6% increase.
Can you calc these moon explosions or otherwise have an opinion on them? Both explosions are on panel 4 of their respective scans.
    Image 1
    Image 2

It seems that even 15 tons of tnt explosions on the moon are visible from space, so I am not sure how strong the explosions are, but they are significantly bigger than 15 tons of tnt.

If you want to have calcs requested you should ask it in here. Just follow instruction and you'd be fine.

Sorry, I didn't see this until today.
"The cage is being projected around him to trap him in place (the ability is literally stated to be time skip used constantly on Jiren, meaning it's not time-stop). So yes, he's moving the cage. Saying otherwise is actually the headcanon here, and the time inside his dimension isn't frozen in any way."

Stated to be a time skip? , he says, that he's going to bind him in a cage of time, you could say he moves the cage but that doesn't change the fact that hit stills bind him in time, one more I never said frozen you failed to realize, I said frozen in time not actually removing time. Not to mention, Champa says (4:02) keep him frozen which supports the evidence that it is freezing in time.

In the db wiki it also supports my point https://dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/Time_Prison

There is nothing saying that the description is wrong and once more, supports my point even more.

You just contradicted yourself, you said that time-skip doesn't stop time, but can stop time on those boss' guards. That means he can decide to stop time, freeze in time, and skip-time with time-skip.

And the skipping-one doesn't work for your argument, it's proved to not stop movements unlike what's being showed and used against jiren (plus the rocks) and it makes perfect sense with Vados' s statement of him spamming time-skip since time-skip can stop, freeze in time, and skip-time and it was established that skipping-doesn't stop the opponent's movements, so it's very likely that he's either freezing or stopping time against jiren.
    ByAsura
    ByAsura
Ok, it's your prerogative to think that.

I said it's an inconsistency. I never contradicted myself. Time-skip also doesn't work that way.

It's a different application on Jiren to trap him. So it's still the same technique, just different. This harkens back to my point that freeze doesn't mean frozen in time.

At this point, it's more opinion vs opinion. So I'm well and truly done arguing about Hit.
    elhermanopadre
    elhermanopadre
    Ok, your still wrong xd.

Just because you think it's inconsistent does mean it is. How does time-skip doesn't work that way? you just said that he used time-skip to stop the time of those alien's and it was proved and stated that he can freeze in time, stop time and skip time, so he chooses the applications.

Once more you make no sense, we know that skipping time doesn't stop you from moving (hit the living proof of that) you realize that , if jiren struggle a bit to move, that cannot be skipping time, not to mention it was said to keep him freeze, the only reasonable answer use of that is him freezing or stopping time.
