Pretty simple CRT I hope.

Currently, Age of the Sentry Sentry's current 1-A rating stems from him upscaling from the likes of Doctor Strange. However, there's a few problems here:

1. Age of the Sentry is an alternate universe
2. Nothing in the book indicates its universe's version of Doctor Strange is comparable to the 616 incarnation
3. While The Sentry of this universe has crossovered with characters from 616, none of them are Doctor Strange themselves or anyone on his caliber.

Unless there's further evidence, both Sentry and the Void should have their 1-A downgraded to Low 2-C via the already estblished universal feat on Sentry's key

His True Form should be downgraded to At least 2-C based on the feats on his profile

Seems reasonable, not to mention iirc, some of those 1-A ratings in general I still have doubts and don't look like they follow the newly updated 1-A and above rules. Where lots of them were agreed to be downgraded to Low 1-A at best. But this one to get out of the way looks reasonable.

Ehh thats its own thread tbh so its not too relevant here when the issue is the feats wouldn’t apply in general to this version

But yeah the thread is dope

This seems to make sense, although it might be valuable to ask a Marvel comics expert.

At least his second key is being scaled to universal eternities, which are 1-A, personally I think that the fact that they specifically mentioned earths is enough to prove that their talking about universal eternities not just universes, since normally when marvel says alternate earths they’re talking about a universal eternities, if other marvel supporters disagree I’d be willing to change my mind though

You got scans for that?
For reference, Destroyer Darkmass, the character who Sentry scales to in the last key, has the main feat of fully presiding over Sentry's original Earth and fragmenting it into countless different universes, which was described earlier on as a multiverse of possibilities. Earlier still, he caused all of those timelines to explode with a wave of his hand (Ontop of Cranio stating his command over that universe is absolute), and in the first issue, he's depicted as physically tearing them apart.
The "timelines" in context are alternate earths, as the scans Ultima cites involve characters from different timelines like Earth-616, Earth-1611, and Earth-6905. All alternate earths, but especially Earth-616, are 1-A by default for being the basis of scale for universal abstracts like Eternity.

This depends on whether or not each timeline is a new Earth, if they aren't they yeah I'd agree with the downgrade but if yes then no.

Idc either way.

I am fairly sure that it gets invalidated by Age of Sentry number… 4 I think? Where it is explicitly stated that timelines in the context of Age of Sentry are alternate realities.

No scans today, VPN lagging.

Alright, so...

In Age of Sentry #4 Sentry chases Cranio into the past. However, due to an accident, he ends up meeting his "Golden Age" self. Professor reveals that this Sentry is from, and that the timelines in question, are alternate realities. Which just to confirm it further, Golden Age Sentry's Earth number is revealed here (though later retconned into another number here, search 4209).

Why is all of this relevant? Because when Cranio reveals Sentry the truth, in Age of Sentry #6, Sentry directly states that he travels through time just like before, Earths being destroyed and merging here literally stated to be alternate realities before.

So, Destroyer Darkmass keeps his rating (on his non-existent page) for sure. That being said... True Form Sentry doesn't really scale to him. I don't know where that implication that they fought came from. There was nothing he could do, after all. Still, his true form exists on the same level, so... maybe??

That being said, this is not why Sentry is 1-A. Instead, it is because the universe (established as Universal Eternity) cannot let Sentry exist without a counterbalance; and for Bob creating another timestream (established as Universal Eternity) simply by existing. Now, normally it maybe might be argued to be a hax and not a solid rating, but due to the true form Sentry being an energy-form (think Sentience of the Universe or Enigma Force) that by its very nature causes this and not actively, I think it applies as is.
