Puella Magi Discussion Thread XI or I: The Eternal Story

- Homura Tamura states it takes a regular Tiro Finale several minutes to damage Walpurgisnacht.

- Her threads can restrain Walpurgis temporarily, even when she attacks them in Magia Record.

1. I would say just downgrade her to Unknown for the time being. Less headache that way so people won't bring it up again and we can focus on different matters.

2. Is doing continuous attack enough to warrant an upgrade though?

3. Haven't we solved this matter by finding feats about Magical Girls destroying witch barrier? What is the issue now?
 
That's what we thought initially, hence the downscaling.

It hasn't really changed perceptions from what I'm aware. Like I said, its not an actual issue, just that people percieve it as. Probably going to cause threads that waste time rather than being constructive.

Huh, neat.

So it will probably be bring up again by those who isn't familiar with the verse then. Should we put a note or a blog on the verse main page about PMV having Pocket Reality destroying feats by magical girls, so when people questions it again, all we have to do is just gave them a link instead of explaining it?
 
About mami’s tier being changed with downscaling from walpurgisnacht, wouldn’t it be better at high 7-a since she barely damages it
Base mami not being 7-a makes me sick
 
That's the thing, unless Walpurgis is at the very baseline of 6-C, the downscaling isn't allowed anymore. We're being forced here to upgrade her or find better feats at this point.
 
So sorta bad news for the Hijiri / Nico fans, the profile is being delayed til tomorrow. And more bad news for the Hijiri fans, her section (& Hyades) will still not be completely updated yet.

I will say, Nico is coming out pretty haxxed, even before the twist.
 
Looking at souju, shouldn’t “7-B/City Level, at least 7-B/City level with Picchi Gemellati” be “7-B/City level, higher with Picchi Gemellati”
And for her durability i think she did directly block an attack from kazumi, so likely 7-b durability?

With kazumi its hard to tell, since she's basically holding back half the time since she doesn't like killing. Although didn't souju block her with ice manip?
 
Just checked the attack potency page
“For example, a character that is Solar System level but has an attack that multiplies their power by 100 times. In this instance it should be written as “Solar System level, higher with that ability or technique”.”
So would be higher

And just checked the manga, she blocks kazumi’s swing then starts freezing her

Well, the holding back part still probably applies, at least until she pulls out the Limiti Esterni.

The Nico update as promised. As you probably noticed, HR is going be busy so the profile creation / updates are probably going to be once every other day for the time being.
 
Yep, we're using fan translations. If Yen Press really does really EN Wraith Arc, expect minor revisions.

It's also a good sign that Wraith Arc might be relevant to the movie / more translations, which can be reallllllly good.
 
i should probably reread Wraith arc then. I’m kinda hoping Concept movie will still be relevant as well. I think it should since Urobuchi apparently finished most of his script in 2016, like a year after it came out.

I think they took parts of the concept movie and put in Magia Record personally, such as the Oktavia / Sayaka fusion thing they showed. But I'm not sure I remember Walpurgis at all in the concept movie, it seems to be a very different direction than what was shown. Would be cool to have a giant Mami statue poking out of the Earth like the concept movie though lol.

Seems we're getting close to the final revisions for Pocket Reality Feats. Not sure why everything is happening now but okay. Anyways, it seems we're going to use the volume of barriers and directly tie them to AP, which means we're going to need to slightly revise the feats. Thankfully, we know most barriers' shape so it should be a relatively easy matter.
 
Weird question, but does anyone have the Jp version of the stat hexagon for Final Tart in Tart Magica? I was just curious if it said “Extra” or something different in the center.
 
Hmm, does anyone have links so that I can watch the other media for Madoka Magica other than the anime? Pretty much new here.
 
The only things to watch are the 1st anime, the movies, and the magia record anime, everything else is manga and games
All the anime and manga are pretty easy to find online except tart magica in english seem to be gone, for games i’m pretty sure it’s all on youtube

Just noticed that sayaka has At most class 5 ls, but minou has At least class 10 even though she's weaker
What would be the best way to fix that

Well if we're being technical, the Pia Undo from the Divine Gates crossover was already the strongest mg. If we don't count her, Tart will still be the strongest mg, she'd just have High 3-A from being > to the Mirror Witch.

Speaking of which, anyone know if the Mirrors Story is over yet? Kinda need to release her profile before changing Tart.
