Seems like it. Makes sense when OPM is one of the more popular anime around (with anime itself being one of the most popular forms of media around), ESPECIALLY in the vs battles community, and is still getting consistent updates pretty much every month right now.

DBS also has a big discussion thread, but people more so tend to strictly talk about feats, statements, and scaling, with the majority of that stuff either being extremely simple and easy to add (because a lot of those things are either hax or just statements, meaning there's usually never a need to calc stuff), or being immediately brought to a separate thread. This thread talks much more about OPM in general, and usually things pertaining to vs battles topics isn't handled so quickly.

Anyways guys, so the Elder Centipede KE calculations have been floating around for a while now because we need to find EC's speed. EC's best speed feat is intercepting Genos's spiral incineration cannon, a plasma beam. Plasma has no set speed as a substance, like gas or water, but it's obviously very advanced tech. Does anyone know any plasma tech they would scale Genos's beam speed to?

Speaking of the updated continent slice calc are we going to add that one or I saw few other calcs? The whole thing has just been confusing tbh.
We plan on adding Ugarik's one eventually, but apparently some were against his new calc, so we're undecided it seems? We definitely need to make a CRT for that

Maybe a plasma cutter (6096 m/s) would be a good real life equivalent for Genos's beam? Marauder plasma coil (0.03C)? I'm really not sure, and although the Marauder Railgun is probably closest to Genos's firepower, calcing EC's KE at Sub-relativistic speeds would get results that would probably get rejected as an outlier

I heard that there are very specific rules when it comes to KE so it's best to consult a calc member on this. AFAIK, KE tends to lead to very inflated results. And it might end up as an outlier.

Anyway, your suggestion seems decent I guess?

I'm waiting for further CGM input so I came here in the meantime. Ugarik's answer to my question about using a plasma cutter as a reference was that plasma has no set speed, but I can at least say that plasma weaponry is going to generally be fast and that Genos's cannons shouldn't be going slower than the speed of sound here (EC is making shockwaves as he moves to intercept it).

You're probably thinking about how KE for Giant characters is often misused, because people upscale the speed of relatively slow moving giants to be normal human speed instead of using their actual speed. There's no way to inflate EC's results if we multiply his shown speed (outspeeding Genos's beam) by a lowball of his mass, which would be regular centipede density upscaled to his stated width and shown length. To be honest I think EC's much denser than a regular centipede, but I know of no better way to quantify his mass

The key thing is to find the speed of Genos's beam, because that's where we can go wrong

The anime profiles Boros and Saitama will still be made or... No?

Then it would be possible to apply the earthquake calculation to the anime version of the meteor and then scale to Boros and Saitama.

The anime meteor is already calced at High 6-B. Boros as of now does not scale to the meteor, and neither does his anime counterpart.

Anime profiles have been thrown out the window. I proposed of the idea, but they aren't different enough to justify a seperate profile

Yo, I have a challenge for you guys. I want you to name two characters, one that you think would be a good hero in OPM and one that you think would be a good monster, guess on their ranks and describe how you think they'd interact with the verse.

I'd pick IDW Optimus Prime for obvious reasons

He'd be an excellent hero and probably would have gotten along with characters like Bang or Mumen rider, he'd be a strong S-Class hero and a really fast one if we're using the High 6-A version, he'd be the strongest known S-Class hero. He likely would've seen the OPM society as really corrupt and likely would've done what he did with the senate, which is go to their faces, live on TV and call out their bullshit. He likely would've actively try and get involved in politics to make society better. He'd probably be really hated by Amai Mask.

For a monster I pick Monsterverse Godzilla.

Likely would've been a very slow threat level dragon, but still incredibly formidable nonetheless, as none of the low tier S-Class heroes would be able to even harm him. I don' think he'd be attacking humanity that much, he'd more or less just pop to kill some monster and then leave. Regardless, the HA would likely view him as a threat and would send heroes to attack him. He probably would've gotten along with Saitama if he's being nice.

Also I had this funny idea of Thanos being a farmer in OPM and saitama regularly buys vegetables from him lol

Talion from the Shadow Of games.

Well, to start, he comes back to life if he dies within 12 hours. He'd be the perfect Hero to send out as a tester to see what you're up against, and he has more than enough hax to hold his own against anyone that comes out. Teleportation, willpower that kept him fighting for "centuries", Mind Hax to make monsters turn onto the Heroes side, all his elemental bullshit, being an extremely skilled fighter, possibly more than anyone we've seen yet, he's a genius so he could definitely devise some kind of plan to keep all monsters down and killed, as he literally outsmarted SAURON. A VERY good resistance to Mind Hax that allowed him to resist Sauron's mind hax for CENTURIES, etc etc etc.

Now, for my Monster? Yet again... Talion. But not quite the same. This talion has everything the previous Talion did, but even more. He can raise the dead to fight for him, he can kill souls, he's more likely to try to make someone go insane with mindhax, he's basically always bloodlusted, he can summon invulnerable ghosts to fight by his side, he can duplicate himself and his weapons, still has his limitless stamina and insane willpower.

Also, did I forget to mention that he can teleport his sword into your throat if he decides to? And this is very in-character for him to do?

Tough one. How about Saitama, he'd prob be an A-Class Hero if he were in it. And Garou for the Monster, he'd be Above Dragon at his peak.

Jokes aside, I'm gonna assume you mean they are suddenly transferred to OPM as if it were an isekai, I'm also just gonna assume they show up, say, around the start of the show, when Saitama one shots Vaccine Man. How about Reinhard van Astrea (Re:Zero) as a hero, and uh...how about the Great Tomb of Nazarick as a whole. Welp, time to write an essay on these two scenarios because I think both (especially Reinhard) are great ideas. Lol coming back to this later and saying that I'm gonna put Ainz's in another comment because of how long this one is.

Reinhard would probably take some time to realize that he's in a new world. Once he discovers that fact, he'll slowly learn about the new society, how it functions, and eventually become a Hero once he learns about the profession, I imagine he'd also have to work at some lowend job before he even can be a Hero (hilarious thinking about Reinhard as a cashier at some local market). Once he does become a Hero (probably starting at high A-Class as the Hero Association seems to only give immediate S-Class rankings when a Hero has not only extremely high physical and mental capabilities on the tests, but also extreme feats they have performed), he'd quickly rise through the ranks in every regard. Very high combat ability, at least moderately high popularity rankings due to his appearance and personality, and would very likely have high activity in the field, as Reinhard would still believe that his life's purpose is to be a hero, and being a new world wouldn't change his goals. Without any laws to bind him to a specific place either, he'd likely be traveling around whenever a major threat appears, defeating any Monster he can find. He would obviously rise into S-Class with no problems, and I imagine would easily get within the top 10 of them. Hell, I could even see him getting the 3rd or 2nd spot in just a few months at most, and the only reason I hesitate about him getting the 2nd spot is because the HA probably wouldn't want to deal with Tatsumaki, who would likely get mad if someone that wasn't Blast surpassed her ranking, meanwhile Reinhard obviously wouldn't care about his ranking in the least, so he wouldn't bother attempting to change it. If the Hero Association asked him what he wanted his hero name to be (which they probably would), he'd definitely just go with "The Sword Saint", for obvious reasons to anyone who's watched Re:Zero. Now finally, as for how he'd intereact with specific characters...that deserves an entire section of its own.

He'd probably befriend a few Heroes even below S-Class ranking, at least the ones that Reinhard finds admirable. If he meets Mumen Rider, I imagine the two would form a great bond, and Reinhard would likely train Mumen Rider the best he can, although seeing as he likely wouldn't be ruthless enough to make Mumen break his limiter, I doubt even Reinhard's training would push Mumen anywhere beyond high B-Class level at best. He likely wouldn't meet Saitama for a while, if ever, but I imagine they'd just be generally neutral towards each other, anyways. Amai Mask would come to meet Reinhard after his quick promotion to S-Class, obviously to see if he's worthy of being an S-Class. Despite some differing views between them, I think Amai Mask would practically love Reinhard for pretty much all of the latter's positive traits. Meanwhile, Reinhard would clearly sense the somewhat dark aura exuding from Amai, and could tell that Amai isn't a completely good person, if not even directly see some of his negative traits, but due to his nature, Reinhard wouldn't be likely to make rash judgements about Amai, and would act fairly friendly towards him. I won't go over all of his hypothetical interactions with other S-Class members, especially seeing as I think he would only meet a few of them until later on, but I'll mention a few. Genos would probably have some respect for Reinhard, but overall would be neutral towards him, and vice versa. Flashy Flash would likely acknowledge and respect Reinhard's speed and skill, the latter of which would even surpass Flashy's (and by a large degree, not that Flashy would acknowledge that in specific), and Reinhard would probably like to see another person that uses swords (which there aren't too many of in OPM), but wouldn't think much of him beyond what his views on most of the rest of the S-Class would be. Drive Knight would be highly interested in Reinhard's abilities, and would eventually try to analyze them most likely, for obvious reasons, but I don't they'd actually interact with each other. Zombieman would respect Reinhard's power and motives, but again, they wouldn't necessarily be more than just respectful towards one another. Atomic Samurai would probably try to test how skilled Reinhard is with a sword, and I could even see them having a friendly sparing match while AS's disciples watch. They'd both be at least fairly surprised of each other's abilities (especially Atomic Samurai), and Atomic would greatly respect if not even admire Reinhard afterwards. Due to Reinhard's Divine Protection's and speed (I'm also assuming Atomic is powerful enough for Reinhard to call Reid out), he'd have no trouble matching and overcoming Atomic, who'd consider Reinhard another rival, similarly to Bang. Bang would likely hold a similar sense of respect of Reinhard, and I could even see him also having a friendly sparing match, where Reinhard would display exceptional martial arts, although I do doubt he'd be on par with Bang in that aspect, but he'd still do extremely well, overall. Bang would likely try getting Reinhard to join his dojo, but I somewhat doubt Reinhard would want to. If he did though, he'd probably get the hang of WSRSF without much trouble. Tatsumaki would take note of Reinhard, but probably wouldn't confront him unless he took her place, which I doubt would happen, and the same goes for Blast (although he obviously wouldn't be aggressive if Reinhard did manage to get rank 1).

As for specific, canon events he'd have a part in, I imagine he wouldn't get into any big canon events until the meteor appears, where (assuming he's in another city) he'd just rush over to it and could prob take it out if he drew Reid, although I don't know if Reid would allow that seeing as the meteor isn't an "enemy", it's just a large object. If he couldn't find a way to deal with it himself, obviously Saitama would just do what he did in the series. I doubt he'd get involved in the Deep Sea King incident, but if he did, well, he just one shots it before any of the more major damages are dealt. Of course, he'd be called for the S-Class meeting, and when the Dark Matter Pirates show up, I could possibly see him fighting Boros, if he managed to get on the ship and reach him. For simplicity though I'll just say he goes and deals with Melzargard quickly, via one shotting him using an energy blast. I could see him dealing with Elder Centipede when it appears, but if not, he'll just be on standby, ready to either face Garou (who he'd hear about occasionally) or combat the Monster Association. He'd likely just be sent in during the raid, and all that really does is make things much easier. The Tatsumaki Vs. Psykos and Psyrochi fight happens as normal, Saitama Vs. Orochi goes as normally, I doubt Reinhard would face Garou until he becomes awakened (where he'd prob just keep coming at Garou until Saitama comes and deals with the issue). If Reinhard did fight Garou though, he'd prob just keep overwhelming Garou, until Garou powers up and overwhelms Reinhard. Reinhard might adapt, but eventually Garou's reactive evolution would completely overcome the issue. Of course, Garou could never land a finishing blow, so they'd keep fighting until Tatsumaki wrecks the MA base. Garou might also reach his awakening a bit quicker. Overall, I honestly don't think Reinhard would change the canon timeline TOO much with his presence. He's just another powerful and well known Hero who creates a positive impact on the verse, but doesn't do much of his own.

So I was looking at some of the profiles and noticed that G4 and G5 are only MHS when G4 should be higher since the Genos he fought was stronger than his past self who is possibly MHS+ from fighting Deep Sea King. Then G5 scales to G4 so both of them should be MHS possibly MHS+.

The reinhard in OPM scenario was an enjoyable read, 10/10.
The idea of him getting Isekai'd to a futuristic/modern setting as opposed to subaru getting sent to a medieval/fantasy one is funny to me, it even reminds me a little of " the devil is a part timer ".

Nazarick on the other hand will probably be a little troublesome, because while they have the hax to potentially solo the verse, they are far too slow. (and weak, as guardians and supreme beings are very likely getting downgraded to 7-C, wich means any relevant character can get killed by them as likely as they can kill them.)

Their predisposition to using prep time, political shenanigans and evil plots, however, increase their chances of survival and changing the storyline drastically.
( They can send people to infiltrate HA's executives, get fake heroes like Ainz's momon persona to join, maybe even have Ainz kill Orochi with instant death and take his place as monster king while bluffing King style. )

If Saitama and Ainz eventually fight, there's a high chance he would silent cast death magic on the unimpressive looking fodder B-class before said "weakling" decided to one-shot him, and doom himself and the world if it happened before the Boros fight.

Poggers. Had to do something else but yeah, when there's an interesting idea I like, I can really talk about it for a while. Now for Nazarick. And let's assume that the entire tomb is in some large barren forest, I guess. I think it would also be more interesting if I sort of made speed equalized. Like, not literally, but balanced it enough so that even the Floor Guardians can't just get blitz stomped by any remotely powerful OPM character. But obviously everything else stays the same, such as AP (which the Overlord characters obviously get dwarfed in).

Day 1 of it would be fairly similar to episode 1 of Overlord, in a sense. Where Ainz quickly realizes he's in another world. He'd learn about the surrounding land and modern society without much trouble, and would probably question if it was Earth for a moment, but would quickly dispel those beliefs after learning about Heroes and Monsters, let alone whenever he sees the world map. He would likely spend time learning about the OPM world in more detail, and, as you said, would use the guise of Momon, possibly with Narberal/Nabe as his companion, to become a Hero. I imagine him and Nabe would both be A-Class immediately, albeit on the low-end of it, with "Momon" being fairly higher than Nabe in that regard, but not by a large margin. Also as a side note, seeing as the OPM world is now pretty much confirmed to be a sort of futuristic version of Earth where all of the continents merged (but the common currency still appears to be Japanese Yen) and I also think the signs in OPM are all written in Japanese, I'm just gonna assume the written text is commonly or always in Japanese, which Ainz would quickly recognize and probably wonder about. He'd probably learn about the history of OPM's Earth, and wonder if he came back to the "real life" Earth, but for some reason went to a future version of it in the process. But of course, he'd also doubt that too, seeing as the OPM technology is probably not much more advanced than what his world's was like, seeing as Overlord takes place in the future, when nearly full dive VR tech is finally created. Overall, there could be many interesting things in regards to that. Anyways, Momon and Nabe would probably rise through the ranks of A-Class fairly high, but without the use of any magic (which they'd try to not use too much for obvious reasons, especially Momon), I don't think they could make it into S-Class. Their physical abilities are high enough to reach a bit upwards into A-Class, and if they use some tier 3 or lower magic on top of that I could see them getting close to the top 10. But even if they weren't as concerned about using magic as in the original series, they wouldn't want to overly stand out, at least not as much as S-Class Heroes, anyways.

Back in Nazarick, they would likely be using several spies to learn how powerful each S-Class Hero is, disregarding every Hero below Amai Mask as irrelevant fodder. They would also quickly begin to go out and capture Monster's, for experimental purposes and similar things. I could possibly see the intelligent researchers of Nazarick finding out how to use something similar to Monster Cell's, and slowly begin building up an army of Tiger, Demon, and maybe even lower level Dragon Monster's, although they obviously wouldn't want to make something too powerful, as they would understand how outclassed they are in terms of raw power when pit up against the more powerful denizens of the new world. After analyzing the S-Class Heroes enough, they would likely try to devise plans for dealing with all of them, mostly focusing on Child Emperor, Flashy Flash, Metal Knight, King, Tatsumaki, and Blast. I think they would be especially cautious of Metal Knight, Tatsumaki, and Blast, among that group. Metal Knight is mysterious, highly intelligent, and holds a vast arsenal of powerful equipment and machines, not to mention has a lot of influence over and throughout the Hero Association, however I wouldn't be surprised if Nazarick eventually tried to form some sort of alliance with him. If they ever deemed him as someone that could be manipulated or at least willing to work with them, they would obviously want his power, influences, and resources on their side. Tatsumaki is the Hero Nazarick would be most cautious of, and they would likely begin to devise plans for countering her immediately. Her raw power and ridiculous range make her one of the worst enemies for them to go up against, seeing as she could literally crush any of them into a fine paste instantly by just thinking about it, which is pretty much on par with Ainz's instant death hax, except she can do it on an incomparably wider area of effect. And of course, Blast they would be cautious of simply due to the fact that he's number 1, and rumored to be the strongest Hero around, thus making him potentially more of a threat than even Tatsumaki, but because of the fact that he doesn't even do anything anymore, they would still be more afraid of Tatsumaki. Seeing as the Heroes here are far more threatening than anything seen back in the world they were previously in, Nazarick wouldn't begin their plans of ruling the world nearly as fast. They would be very slow, very methodical, and would take extreme measures to be certain they're prepared for any event.

I doubt they would get involved in any of the major events at all, up until the Monster Association and Garou make their debut. However they would obviously keep track of anything major, such as the meteor, let alone the literal space pirates. Oh, and I forgot to mention it, but they would no doubt be even more interested in working with Metal Knight after learning that he collected the spaceship's material. It's also possible that they would notice Saitama's power, and keep an eye on him, as well. After hearing about Garou's feat's of fighting S-Class Heroes, as well as his motives, I find it very likely that they would also attempt to convince him on joining their group, but obviously Garou would decline. Depending on who asks him, it could potentially lead to a violent confrontation, but I doubt either side would have a casualty. When they learn about the Monster Association, the only organization in this world remotely similar to their own, they would either try to conquer it and seize control of its power, or would try to form an alliance with it. Although I think it's more likely that they would form an alliance, but while they would lend some aid during and before the raid, I doubt Nazarick would get heavily involved, still, it would be very interesting to see a talk between, say, Demiurge and Gyoro Gyoro, and I can only imagine how it would be. But again, they would not want to paint a target on their back, making themselves known by genuinely fighting against the S-Class, and also being weakened in the process is not something I would see Nazarick doing, and they would likely deem the Monster Association as foolish for believing themselves nigh-invincible. I also imagine The Organization is going to be something that could have an interesting dynamic with Nazarick, but I won't get into that since we know so little about them.

From here on I could only speculate about what could happen, because obviously OPM isn't finished, but when Nazarick does inevitably start their attempt at ruling the world, they would finally set a big plan in motion. They could probably manage to kill several weaker S-Class Heroes right off the bat and with no trouble. If they devise a good enough plan to deal with Tatsumaki, and manage to eliminate her, that's obviously one of the biggest hurdles dealt with. Assuming they managed to get Metal Knight working with them (whether through force or just convincing him some way), the only genuine threat by then is Blast. They would likely manage to either learn that King is weak, and would kill him while maintaining the bluff, to further demonstrate their power to the world anyways, or would kill him quickly in their plan, assuming that he was a powerful warrior, but that the plan successfully killed him before he could do anything. Flashy Flash would be a bit more troublesome, seeing as he's not just fast, but they likely wouldn't be able to keep track of him all the time. But he would likely be dealt with in time. Afterwards, it pretty much just comes down to Saitama and Blast. Blast would come out of hiding after all this time, realizing that a disaster level God has just shown its face, and well, we can only speculate whether he would be able to beat Nazarick or not, since we've only gotten a taste of his abilities. Saitama would certainly get into the fray when he realizes that so many people, let alone King, have been killed. And while his raw physical abilities are more than enough to deal with Nazarick if he was purely focused on that, I feel like Nazarick is smart and resourceful enough to have realized Saitama's true power by this point, and would have already devised a plan against even him. Assuming that even Saitama and Blast are defeated, then I can only assume Nazarick succeeds in ruling the world. Obviously God is still a thing, but like the Organization, we don't know enough about him for me to really say anything. And of course, the ending for the scenario here could also go completely differently. It depends on a lot of variables I don't want to go over, but yeah, if Nazarick makes even one mistake regarding some of the more powerful Heroes, it could result in their defeat.

My god I can really type for a long time, lmao.

Kekw that's probably the biggest message I've written on this site and the old forum despite it not being related to vs battles topics at all.
