because they specifically updated it to follow and have all the stuff the show did implying they want it to be canon ontop of nothing saying that its non canon with it not going against the lore in really any way and rather adds to it(as it seems now that the game tales place after season one of the show)

This isnā€™t enough evidence and just relies on a faulty premise.

The video you linked doesnā€™t even have everything the show provides 1:1 and a lot of the rooms in the Skeld look very much the same prior to the update. (e.g. Security, Reactor, Navigation, etc) Youā€™re wording it as if they attempted to make the game align with the show when it should vice versa if it was truly an adaptation of gameā€™s canon.

It can just be said that a lot of the new features we see in the current map are added for flavor + Quality of Life, not specifically to align the story of the show with the game. Weā€™d need a direct statement for us to see if this is the case, otherwise it kinda falls flat.

Also, saying it seems fine because ā€œnothing is saying itā€™s ā€˜non-canonā€™ā€ is like me saying aliens must have visited Earth because nothing says otherwise. If youā€™re making a claim, you need to actually give reasoning as to why it is THE case, not just basing it off of vibes.

I do still feel like we should keep the profiles seperate at least, as in avoid scaling the show and game to each other even if they happen in the same "canon"
At least until i see the video game Impostor turn into a giant room sized mass of goo

Not sure what this is exactly meant to provide but it is useful. I think (especially from what the official account said) this is basically a case like Sonic or Mario. Even though it takes place in another continuity/storyline/etc, itā€™s still canon to the overarching world of ā€œAmong Usā€. Itā€™s like they said, ā€œthis isn't THE only story of Among Us, just one of many that are happening all the time.ā€ Itā€™s like how Daima is canon to Dragon Ball even though it may not fit a preexisting timeline like Super.

This implies that each story is indeed separate, but obviously are all canon to the franchise as a whole. The main issue here is primarily consistency and continuity. Like @Aguywhodoesthings said, itā€™s better to keep these profiles separate.
 
Even so, the characters in the show are so distinct that Iā€™m not sure that should even scale to the average crewmates and impostors tbh. Like they have very fletched out roles n shit

I feel like we should just treat this how Mario handles Hotel Mario, where even if explicitly not fully stated we can assume they take place in separate canons
 
The Feats that stood out to me are;

    • Red slipping upwards
    • Lime breaking a wooden board
    • Red making a tiny shockwave by growing big
    • Imposter size
    • Red breaking a steel crate door
    • Purple getting thrown into a crate, denting it
    • Maybe some other stuff idk
 
Ok thatā€™s me caught up to the end of episode 5 so thatā€™s cool, Iā€™ll try and finish off the series tomorrow.


Also this show kinda good lmoa, Iā€™m enjoying my time

Red yells loud enough the send the cast flying, and survives being shocked for an extended period of time, Lime is also a fast little guy.
 
Ok so orange stuff so far excluding likely more information about impostors that we'll probably learn about from episode 6-10


Untransformed (Main reason I think these should be keys is because Red easily overpowered Orange to vote them out)
  • Superhuman Durability (Survived being thrown across a room)
  • Toon Force
    • Flight (Flew slightly above the ground upon being swooned by blue)
  • Social Influencing (Social Position, obvious reasons)
and like Average Intelligence by knowing about company policy very well

Transformed
  • Superhuman Physical Characteristics
  • Large Size (Type whatever is calced, 100% going to be superhuman tho)
  • Additional Limbs
  • Social Influencing (Instigating Fear)
  • probably Immortality (Type 6) but don't spoil me on that, I think we need to discuss impostors further for their innate abilities
Whatever stats (at least street level by what happened to blue and white), Higher with Piercing damage


hopefully this is good, I'm going to hold off on making the profile until I've seen the whole show tho

because I kinda wanna make a profile for this

there's nothing to calc from the looks of it (aside from the impostor cutting a foe in half with their tongue, which is 9-C), I'll just make the profile in a bit

I got spoiled on the second imp too unfortunately, don't worry tho, i actually got so engrossed near the end of the show i momentarily forgot who the impostor was until the reveal
