Star Wars Discussion Thread Canon/Legends- Episode VI Return of the Threadi

Star Wars: Jedi Challenges has a lot of Force powers, it would be interesting to have information about them. Unfortunately, I think this game is closed? And I couldn't find any videos showing the Force powers, so if anyone has any information...

I'm thinking of replacing the initial image of Force Manipulation with the one below, what do you think?

Today marks one year since my first Star Wars CRT and the creation of the Force page (now called Force Manipulation).

You mean like the insane quote Anakin has in one of the Clone Wars games saying Plo Koon once beat Yoda in a lightsaber duel?
It depends. Even in canon, Yoda is never declared the best swordsman, duelist, or battlemaster of the Order. That title is always given to others, even those weaker than him like Draling. Whether in Human Torment or modern times. Of course, Yoda is still comparable to them in lightsaber skill; he's level 9 like Mace Windu, but unlike the Force Power category, he isn't the undisputed absolute number one in the Order in terms of duelist/lightsaber skill. So if the duel is based more on skill than Force Power, then to me it's not absurd.

We're talking about the same dude who always beats Count Dooku (who trashes basically everyone in the Jedi Order that isn't Anakin and maybe Mace Windu) and disarmed an amped up Sidious off-screen. Beating Yoda in a duel regardless of context is actually kind of nutty.

Count Dooku had to retreat because he was at a power disadvantage, not a skill one.

Even when it came out, the canon status of Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels would have been questionable, considering it mostly adapted fights from The Clone Wars movie and the first season of the show, but changed a lot of details, featured elements from deleted scenes, and completely made up a fight between Obi-Wan and Dooku that doesn't really fit into the timeline of the episode it supposedly takes place during (not to mention that Dooku somehow loses...)

It's also considered legends so lol

It is also dubious even within Legends considering in Maul: Shadow Hunter Yoda toys with Plo and two other council masters simultaneously:
She had attended a lecture on battle techniques given by Master Yoda earlier this year, and the memory of it came back to her now.

Yoda had faced the assembled students and spoken, his thin reedy voice somehow carrying to the far corners of the lecture hall without benefit of amplifiers.

“Better than training, the Force is. More than experience or speed it gives.”

And he had given a demonstration. Three members of the council—Plo Koon, Saesee Tiin, and Depa Billaba, excellent fighters all—had come forward and attacked him. Master Yoda had not been armed, and had not seemed to move more than a meter or so, his tread slow and measured. Nevertheless, none of the three had been able to lay a finger on him. The lesson had struck powerfully home: Knowledge of the Force was infinitely better than technique.

I don't know about Legends, but in canon, someone can become good with a specific Force power.

We have Jedi Grandea, who since Order 66 has used the Mind Trick so much that she evolved the power to use it on Toydarians and Hutts, on two Inquisitors, and in her old age she created an entire city in Kylo Ren's mind.

Anakin's profile has a ton of 'surpassed all the Jedi before him' statements but do we actually even take that seriously? Like even at the height of his power as Darth Vader he doesn't he reach Yoda/Windu/Palpatine levels right?

I'm going to make a simple CRT with minimal components.

Except for Paraconsistent Physiology. why? I was talking to @ActuallySpaceMan42 and apparently it's valid? He told me to make a CRT so I think I'll test it. Not that it matters much since it's just an appearance power that's useless if you don't prove immunity, but it looks cool on the profile.

Vader kills a dude who is Mace's equal like not too long after he gets his suit in Legends. Disney Canon is a bit more tricky early on but by the time of the actual movies? Absolutely he's surpassed everyone in the Prequel Era.
