Tournament Bracket

RULES:
Adam Pixton is in his Stage Two key while Charlotte is in her Full Body key at her 7-C version
Adam is able to change between stages 1 and 2. Otherwise, he is unable to change stages (This will not make matches unapplicable to profiles)
Charlotte's Portal Manipulation/Dimensional Travel + all attached abilities are restricted (This'll make this match inapplicable to profiles). Charlotte will have no equipment.
Anything above 7-C is restricted and starting distance is 10 meters
Speed is equalized

NOTES:
Charlotte has a 2.754x AP advantage
Charlotte has the Stamina advantage
Charlotte has the Range advantage

Adam has a 1.08x AP advantage with Enhanced Strikes
Adam has the LS advantage
Adam has the IQ advantage

Charlotte generally having much high AP and better range is a difficult combo for Adam to face. Even if he gains an AP advantage with ES, it’s much less than Charlotte’s initial advantage. Even with Adam resisting extreme temperatures, Charlotte’s smelt/lava will still be a significant hazard due to how widespread it is + her initial AP advantage (I know I keep bringing it up but it’s worth a lot).

On the other side of the coin, Charlotte is gonna have some trouble with the energy absorption, since it would likely also be working on her smelt as well as any of her regular KE-related attacks. Though, considering her info analysis, she may be able to find a way to work around it.

For her smelting, how’d that work? Also how much energy can he absorb? We've seen the aftermath of when Charlotte smelted Shovel Knight's world and everything within the horizon has been flooded with portal energy. Plus, he’d have to deal with massive chunks of debris in the air.

Though I am skeptical about him just negating her attempt to smelt the planet, mainly because it isn’t something that’s down to him specifically, Charlotte just puts her hand on the ground and bam, that’s it.

It may prove a problem for long ranged attacks, but worse case scenario Charlotte could just go up to him and whoop his ahh physically, they were able to beat Frisk, EASILY, who in turn is able to stomp the entire IC main cast at once. So skill shouldn’t be too much of a problem for Charlotte.

Pinging only exist for staff basically. Normal users can mention others @ but it will not send any notification to them. Tbh it would be chaotic if you got notification for every time someone @ you

If the smelt is just lava, then Adam should be able to absorb it to a degree, he can absorb the heat from other character's fire and has faught against magma-based opponents

Skillwise I'm not too sure what the Indie Cross characters have for feats but Adam has some pretty good skillslop by the end of book 2, he keeps up with martial arts masters who can predict entire fights through AnPr. The biggest disadvantage he has here will be the AP gap, but because of the AP gap he shouldn't need to worry about going down a stage, as he'll constantly be fed a lot of energy in the fight

At the bare minimum, this would be enough to keep up with Adam’s level of skill.

While it’s good to know that Adam can resist and absorb the smelt for a time, the “to a degree” makes me imagine that he can’t sit in it for too long (which makes sense, I wouldn’t want to sit in lava for too long either). So, while he has enough room for error such that he can survive being pushed/falling into it once or twice, Charlotte can still use it to her advantage.

It’s a little more than this, given there ARE other skill stomps within the series. If I had to put it in an actual order, it’d go sum like

The Main Cast (minus Drifter) < Bugs << Drifter <<< Frisk << Charlotte

Drifter is capable of taking on multiple of Charlotte’s bugs at once, while only just one was skilled and strong enough to nearly kill Shovel. Doesn’t help that everyone is insanely acrobatic, and I mean REALLY, REALLY acrobatic, like to a really stupid degree, yet Charlotte was able to low diff the person who skill stomps the entire cast at once.

It’s not actual lava, it’s just hurts you akin to it if you fell in. It’s portal energy, jus watch this it explains what it is. Charlotte would also know pretty much everything about Adam here due to her info analysis, and could use it to try and squeeze a win here, like morphing her entire body into any projectile he decides to send at her, and bombarding his entire body was Danmaku.

Frisk being able to solo the cast has far less to do with skill and far more to do with the fact that they can one-shot and blitz everyone there not-named Charlotte. That's not to say Frisk isn't skilled, they clearly are going by their performance against the FNAF verse, but still Shovel Knight solos.

Same goes for trying to scale Frisk's skill to Charlotte, like sure she stomped them, but she also massively outstats them and has a significantly better powerset so I dunno
