Star Wars Discussion Thread Canon/Legends- Episode VI Return of the Threadi

No one's currently working on the clone profiles, right? Maybe I could try looking into them when I rewatch CW and BB
So far, Rex can destroy and damage Commando Droids that can tank multiple blaster shots before going down, since I have to watch everything with Kenobi in it.

9-A is fairly safe for clones, though it might be possible to achieve a higher level. Btw, I haven't seen anyone comment on the clones' skill level, considering they're designed from birth to hunt Jedi.

Clones are greatly skilled, and the average Jedi is probably a fair bit beneath them, buuuuut they do revere Jedi help for a reason. Rex in the same episode he takes down commando droids(Rookies) states that they had Jedi on their side for a mission on a planet I already forgot the name of as a counter to Cody saying they've handled worse, and either Rex or Cody says that "We could really use a Jedi right about now."

But their points of reference are by no means low-tier. Obi-Wan can literally dance through on the front lines and not be touched once by blasters aimed at him, and Anakin is known for doing shit like borderline soloing entire ships.

@Phsccarvalho Big issue with current profiles: A lot of legends shit is mixed into their intelligence sections. It was never properly separated...

Speaking of Aftermath, did they ever reveal what Palpatine’s deal was with the Unknown Regions. It seemed like it was supposed to hint at Snoke back in the day, but since the directors dropped the ball it’s still open ended?

I’ve gotten through most of the Maul show, I thought it was pretty good, but just as I was getting excited for future SW projects, I remembered the next movie is Mandalorian and Grogu lmao

The idea was that Galen needed to make a subtle flaw that gave the rebels a way to destroy the Death Star without making signs of sabotage obvious which would give the entire game away (after all, literally millions of people are working on this thing and scrutinizing his work, and his loyalty was already a bit in question). He explains as much in the movie that he needs to be the one to complete it else-wise they will find someone else to do it who won’t lay a trap within for the rebels to exploit.

And since the EU explanation for how the Death Star plans were stolen was no longer Canon, it is as fine a topic as any to make a movie about since it neatly sets up the plot for ANH.

The Force Manipulation page is trending again.

"City level+ (Far more powerful than before due to training, along with Qui-Gon Jinn's statement that Obi-Wan would surpass him at this point. Obi-Wan during the clone wars was a frequent opponent of General Grievous, usually having the upper hand on the good general. Fought Count Dooku on multiple occasions, though Obi-Wan always had the help of Anakin Skywalker. Fought Clone Wars Darth Maul on multiple occasions, and injured Savage Opress' knee with a kick, who could grossly overpower other Jedi. Repeatedly outmatched Asajj Ventress throughout the Clone Wars, who could help Obi-Wan fight Maul and Savage)"

Obi-Wan's current Clone Wars AP justification

You can mention him becoming a Jedi Master.

The title, among other things, also refers to the most powerful members of the order.

6-A? It would be good to have a calculation of that as well, since Vader survived the attack of all the turbolasers from a Star Destroyer.

We don’t really know how many shots it would take to actually crack a planet’s core, so probably better to stick with calcs of fully visual feats of them bombarding planets and the like as far as scaling stuff off of turbolasers.

It is said that, in general, weapons can crack the planet's core.

Where does it say that the statement refers to a series of shots fired over a long period of time?

I mean if a single shot from a turbolaser could crack a planetary core there would be zero need to build the Death Star. A quick barrage would turn a planet to rubble.

While in reality Base Delta Zeros usually involve multiple Star Destroyers carrying out an extended bombardement.

So either the statement is referring to an extended barrage, or is an absolutely wild outlier that completely contradicts every depiction of turbolasers’ power by a dramatic margin.

someone gotta make a crt then
Yes, but other things need to come first.

Reworks of some characters (to improve scaling), that annoying UES (Unified Evolution System) calculation from the staff, and if Elzar's calculation doesn't have a very large reduction, Vader could be class T.

I've already said, for anyone who wants to rework characters and doesn't have/doesn't know how/or doesn't have time to look for scans, I can do it, just like I did with @DaReaperMan. Just ask me.

it just dawned on me, that my family used to have a vintage return of the Jedi bedsheet,

I wonder where it went

Especially after watching Andor you can come back to it with an even greater appreciation for the conclusion of Andor’s arc and the interplay between the recurring rebel characters.
Of course that presents another problem, if you need a prequel show to provide for more context for a movie to make it "better", then can you even call it a good movie?

Also, what good I have heard about Andor makes me wonder why it couldn't have been a Han Solo show instead, at least Disney then would have something to stand up to Crispin's Solo Trilogy
