CK can survive decapitation (given that they need someone to glue their head back for them) so i don't know about that, Abundance power inside them also make them extremely hard to kill

an explosion surely going to do some damage but if they survive that somehow then they can wait for awhile and regen whatever they lost back then go back to fight, flamethrower run into the problem that it range is short which will allow CK to melee rush them or good ol snipe them down with their old looking gun

It still puts them in a weird situation agaisnt sci fi verses. Bolters in WH4OK fire rounds that conpletely blow up the body and Phasers in Star Trek outright vaporize you
The lack of any known vehicles like tanks also screw the Alliance over if they clash agaisnt fellow interstellar factions. We also dont really know how strong their ships are
