One Piece General Discussion: Elbaph

Yeah damaging characters with advance regen usually make regular scaling more messy since they usually get damage by things/attacks which should logically be able to tank, look at Majin Buu or Logia characters as prime examples.

Either because they don't keep their defense up as most attacks can't affect them or they are indeed glass cannons.

Then again, there's a reason why they don't f with the yonkos crews.

The only really impressive one is imu, because he/she took like 12 different attacks from the strongest characters in the verse.

Yeah like frankly most God's Knights haven't even show anything that put them at relative levels to even the weakest Top Commanders like Jack and Cracker, let alone people like Zoro and Sanji.

There might be a reason as to why they're not part of the Three Great Powers.
 
Since the new chapter has been released, I think that we can discuss it here now.

I really liked it. Among other things, it seems to have been confirmed that Blackbeard is Davy Jones' successor or reincarnation, and Zoro figured out that destroying the steel hearts of the knights and possibly the elders, will kill them.

Also, Imu seems to consider Nefertari D. Lili his lost love, and to see Nefertari Vivi as her reincarnation that he obsesses about, if I understood correctly. 🙏

Theres one scene where Imu had a flasback and think of other important characters in the past and present, such as Luffy, Blackbeard, Shanks, Harald, Roger and etc. The interesting part is, there is no Dragon, even though he's the most wanted man in the world.
 
Maybe Imu is underestimating Dragon because he is something mostly new rather than a variation of an old adversary? 🙏

Maybe the author doesn't want to reveal any information regarding him yet and is saving him for a rainy day (hopefully).

Or that he is new (in the grand scheme of things [or for Imu]) and we don't know what will he is inheriting at the moment.

Also, since a lot of people was very convinced somehow that Imu is female, this chapter just threw all that out of the window.

Cause Imu's form in the Pangea Castle is so feminine to look. Like, we don't even know how it looks and it's so weird to see.
 
One of the rules in One Piece: Don't trust Oda's illustrations/sillhouettes.

Just like he did to Kaido's, Big Mom's and Loki's.
 
But what do you guys think about Imu's reveal? Do you think the hype is equal to Luffy's Gear 5 reveal or even better?

I think that the Gear 5th's hype is better because it was literally sooo unexpected for him to become the Joy Boy.
 
I heard a theory that the reason Roger laughed and was too early when he “found" the one piece is because the one piece didn’t exist then since ppl didn’t believe in it, or not enough ppl did. So wb and Roger saying the one piece exist, leading to everyone else believing it made it real.
