Yes, like I pointed out, this is pointing to an exception. They aren't necessarily pathstriders. More explicitly, they don't HAVE TO be pathstriders. Most are. Saying that everyone can possess Path Energy because of this isn't very good proof.
 
I guess that's how luocha and acheron work, they technically pathsrider even draw massive power from it, but they never choose to be or follow exactly the way path they granted


And the mourning actor too, they hate and didn't want elation, and yet become the elation pathsrider but did not follow the elation itself

It would js be very weird for beings to realistically not have Path Energy.

I mean, stuff like intellection would be an extension of Erudition for example. And same can be said for other stuff since Paths are just universal forces or bundles of energy. So all beings would possess them in extremely minute amounts most likely

It's rather explicit you can only harness path energy once you're deep into following that path.

Either way, I'm not particularly against this, it just seems weird to describe it as if it's proven rather than a theory that still needs some evidence.

Dude this is a fictional universe where DH alone can destroy a star. What should be wall level high-schoolers should be easily restrained or speedblitz'd by people at minimum of planet level. If the two parties were remotely similar in power I'd agree, but they're not.

The way how if the highschoolers were replaced by even vaguely trained individuals (like how Belobog has silvermanes and Xianzhou has cloud knights) I’d just say “yeah the soldiers are just strong man” but since they aren’t it’s really goofy
