Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

Question: In y'all personal opinion, both Dabura causing physical effects for running at relativistic speeds and Naoya also causing considerable destruction when running at transonic speeds does this mean that Naoya is the absolute speed limit of the verse, and only Dabura surpassed him? After all, nobody else causes destruction to the environment when running.

I think the fact that Gojo and Naobito are declared faster than Naoya even though neither of them caused destruction while running debunk this logic, But what about y'all, do y'all believe that this is a limitation that extends even to Gojo and Sukuna's peak?

Definitely the loosest adaptation of a fight in JJK so far, but I do appreciate making it feel more like a free-for-all, plus more scenes for all 3 antagonists of Sendai, which was unexpected. I think there was a flash of all 3 domains before they clashed?

This did come at the cost of cutting quite a bit of internal dialogue and narration, and the pacing is quite fast, so I can't say its an improvement on the manga. Probably on par I guess. But if you combine them, I think it makes a fuller whole than either alone.

If Anime specific profiles are made, do ya'll have any idea what the scaling will look like both AP & Speed wise?
 
Still requires Gege to be heavily involved in the work and direction of the story pretty sure or have clear statements that xyz is within the canon story or takes priority over the original material. The anime doesn't seem to be heading in a different direction either so that option isn't realistic rn. And the characters aren't distinct enough to qualify for like two of the limitations. This is also stated on the canon page:

When different source materials give different versions of the same feat, and by that they contradict each other in the depiction of the feat, the primary canon takes precedence over the secondary canon.

If the feat is correctly depicted over multiple canons any of these can be used to judge the feat. Should different results be reached by judging the feat through multiple canons, the result of the primary canon will have priority.

Naobito never went max speed like Naoya so that’s why we don’t see destruction. And Gojo’s faster due to blue which is compressing space over a distance. Gojo’s very clearly not physically fast like Naobito and Naoya or Dabura.

we gotta wait till May to get a better answer since we are getting volume 3 and another interview about sendai fight and kashimo vs hakari, especially since we see glimpses of uro and ryu's domain

Plus anime had yuta just bulldozing through granite blasts half the time and made uro an actual threat lmao so who knows how inverse scaling might change
 
Real ones know that manga Uro already beats anyone without a sure-hit, a numbers advantage, or a speedblitz over her 🙏
