Popped in to say voting for naruto due to reasons above

Voting Naruto due to overwhelming numbers. Haven't seen much convincing for that, some stuff about clones being not as durable but someone brought up several feats of them being durable, so I find it hard Luffy's gonna last against thousands of clones being utilized all with dura negging attacks or just amps of their own.

Since I've finally caught up with One Piece, I can give my take on this. Considering how often Luffy's Gear 5 ran out in Egghead, I can see Naruto outlasing Luffy quite comfortably. His observation Haki is useless after his Gear 5 runs out since Luffy can't move at all. Considering that Luffy wasn't able to tell the real Kizaru apart from just a handful of clones, he is not going to be able to outlast like 2000 of Naruto's, much less find the real Naruto. Voting Naruto.

I watched 9 random people appear completely out of nowhere 10 pages into the discussion and FRA train this from like 22:18 in Narutos favor to 22:27 in Luffy's favor in the span of literally sub 15 minutes.

When this thread was initially opened it went into grace in Luffy's favor over night while majority of Naruto supporters were asleep and had no chance to actually properly interact.


So no offense but saying Naruto is the one riding purely off of being more famous on the wiki is very silly.

After catching up from 15-16 im kust gonna drop a quick summary and thoughts here till KT wakes up.

1. Trihexa102 needs to hop off the thread for making the last 20-30mins reading the thread unenjoyable with constant bad takes and bad headcanons against one piece.

2. People need to stop bringing up verse equalization.

3. Tso looks like its is naruto's only wincon because all im seeing is clone spam and tso. Nothing else? Clones aint gonna hinder him. Dont point out kizaru, they much faster than naruto too and only landed a single scratch.

4. Naruto will not outsmart luffy and is not more unpredictable than luffy is. Naruto utilises clones to get the upperhand on his enemies by trying conceal himself amidst his clones to off put his enemy. But then again it aint working on luffy because luffy has CoO. Even then his luck and instincts will always come through and go for the real body. So theres no hiding or trickery.

4.5 I mentioned many times that luffy's future sight shows him glimpses of the future so if a "oh no i gotta stop this" moment pops up luffy can act upon it and stop naruto before he executes it. this would also work against the "trickery"

5. Chances of naruto landing fatal blows are slim. Pretty much, Luffy has avoided fatal blows from katakuri for 13hrs straight. Katakuri for 13 hrs was trying to end the fight straight away because he saw luffy was beginning to see the same future he was. This also adds to luffy's 3× accelerated development. Katakuri had for 1 was stronger, smarter and had better haki than luffy. He could see into the future but failed to land a fatal blow due to luffy's unpredictability. Gear 5 adds to that sheer amount of unpredictability. His power is only limited to his imagination which naruto would not even begin to fathom all the crazy goofy stuff happening around him. While being pressured by luffy who is much faster than him & executing goofy techniques that goes far beyond things naruto has dealt with.

6. Instead of trying to equalise the haki and chakra as well as downplaying observation haki, come up with something new. Just read 3-5 pages of dog water. Bring sum new to the table pls.

7. How does naruto deal with:

• Being monitored for by observation haki/ future sight that can cut off naruto from executing certain techniques and hand signs.

• luffys speed

• luffy 3× accelerative development. As time passes he grows much stronger.

• luffy's crazy, unpredictable, cartoonic, goofy fighting style as well as the his surrounding enviroment all turned into rubber.

• Organ explosions from constant haki emissions/duraneg

• luffy's uncanny instincts & luck. (This can also be used to avoid tso and fatals like he did against katakuri.) Observation haki can instinctively activate to allow them to dodge or fight even asleep.

Yeah likely, even now Post-time is getting revamped with High 6-A scaling. And there are Calcs ranging from 5-B to Low 4-C that still need to be looked at.
