Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

We could've gotten more interactions with the aliens honestly. I just don't get why Yuji was introduced, Yuka kinda served her purpose, but Maru and Cross could've had more parts of interacting with human culture to paint a better understanding for them.

I guess you’ve become one of the lore skippers. Yuji doesn’t need to serve any further purpose, despite the major roles he already played—like stopping the rampaging Cursed Spirits, giving Maru Yuki the research, and preventing humans and Simureans from killing each other. His main purpose was finding the motivation to move on, since he had given up on everything in his life, believing it was meaningless because his friends would grow old and die while he would be the only one left in the end. Gege simply gave an open-ended conclusion to Yuji’s character here. Him getting the motivation to do something and move on with his life by obtaining a new role in his life.

Others could've stopped the curses, its not hard. Someone else should've had that research, surprised Yuji's the one holding it. Other sorcerers could've stopped that or an alien could've, which would've been a decent way to expand the cast. It'd have been a nice moment where another human and alien come together to understand one another. Yuji's still gonna be used as the main force against curses, so his motivation came back for something he gave up on, but he's still the sole strongest sorcerer alive and thus still going to be who has to fight curses for another several hundred years.

It is when no one other than Yuji was able to do that at the time. Tsurugi vs Maru only cleaned off and Tsurugi sacrificed himself if Yuji wasn't there Maru wouldn't be getting the same result. Simureans and Sorcerers were busy trying to fight one another. There was no one who was going to handle that many curses on their own.

It was given to Yuji by Choso. Yeah you are definitely a lore skipper thinking might have had that when it's the last momentum Choso has given him.

That wouldn't have given Yuji the motivation to move on. His motivation comes from Maru accomplished what he gave up. He literally goes back to Nobara and thinks about the future. He wasn't trying to solve anything in the end while in the beginning he was moving in the shadows without letting others know he was even in the battlefield.

Naw it’s just discord goons.
They always on bs. Some years ago when I first started powerscaling some discord goon deadass argued using official translations were an appeal to authority in VC. Them mfs ain’t even real people
 
I'm of the opinion that tamed Makora should just be on Sukuna's page, and its actual profile should only index untamed Makora.

This is mainly because of Modulo's confirmation that it can adapt to stats, so I find having keys pointless when it can legit become stronger than Sukuna's Makora just via Adaptation.

But it's also because I see tamed Makora as moreso just part of a Ten Shadows user's kit than its own entity, even moreso than untamed Makora.

By the same logic, Sukuna > Black Flash Gojo because Mahoraga got vaporized, sword and everything by hollow nuke while Sukuna survived it:

But then we've seen a single black flash sent Sukuna to nap alongside the fact that Gojo scales comparable to sukuna physically. So Gojo > His own black flash? lol

I genuinely don't understand how people:
  1. Not understand how Mahoraga works, his durability isn't linear, it simply works on what he adapted to;
  2. Think breaking the sword means anything when Sukuna blocked a 120% Hollow purple from a Full Output amped Gojo (way stronger than the one that vaporized Mahoraga entirely) by just reinforcing his arms and literally implies he could take a 100% Hollow Purple even at a short distance if it wasn't for his weakened state:
