Object Show General Discussion Thread: New Friendly

I really enjoy the theater episodes but I think it's good that they are finally taking a break. Plus I also miss watching the episodes from home.
Don't get me wrong; the theater episodes are actually a nice way to prove that indie animation keeps winning. It's just that they've been doing it way too much for their more recent episodes since the latter half of 2025.

As much as I love them, I agree, I was getting worried that they were going to keep on doing it which I know is a very costly thing for several individuals.
Indie media always wins though, I mean 4 of my favorite shows are on Prime and TADC is on Netflix I just wonder what will happen next.

Holy crap could this potentially be an infinite speed upgrade plus a 4th universe?

Jack states the hosts come to him to get the votes, which is past the universe which is infinite, this could be a pretty good speed upgrade for everyone! Book even walks back too! Fries also arives back! Jack also states he's not from the BFDI universe implying that there is another universe, separate from our current 3.

You're DAMN right it does! I never thought that it would narratively be possible, but here we are! Also, nobody seems to scale to the 4th universe since this one is outside of the main "universe" which is a cosmology of 3 universes, but at least it would scale to the Budget Cut users' range. Speaking of which, Book, Needle, and Tennis Ball finally get to become hosts, so they should get Budget Cuts too.

As for this elimination, I'm honestly happy Tennis Ball got out, as he would've been way too much of a predictable choice to win. Speaking of who should win, I voted Book.

We're gonna have a pretty big revision on our hands, huh? Also, my boy Jack Frew getting casually revealed as one of the most important figures in BFDI lore is WILD!

Even better yet, it's our most consistent speed feat yet! Given how everyone has been a host at some point and that they would've had to gone to Jack, plus Jack does it himself too when he arrives on the BFDI earth, meaning Jack is probably one of the most important characters in the show.
What's next? Dan holding the fabric of reality together?

Also I agree, even though I love TB I feel like he shouldn't win, I personally voted for Needle since I feel like she did the most in this season.

I will say one more thing real quick: they're definitely setting up the return of IDRB with that ending. I know they already confirmed it'll resume once BFDIA ends, but it's still nice to see them setting up those connections here.

Ngl I didn’t like the episode as much as I hoped to. Needle ftw.

Anyways, doesn’t there being an edge to the BFDI “main” universe kinda prove it’s not infinite anymore?? And it’s not like the Nonexisty statement is quite disproved because there’s holes that lead past the edge as well, with that universe being presumably actually infinite. Or maybe that’s not how that works and I’m just misinterpreting stuff.

The fact that Book could see the hole leading outside of the universe as she was leaving it only indicates that she pretty much broke out of the infinite boundary of outer space that was supposed to be keeping her in, especially given the fact that Book was glitching the moment the half of Needle's cake got launched into the twin stars.

Off topic, but I love how the twin stars can be a metaphorical reference to the creators of the series who are twins, especially given how they are the ones who know what the votes are which is why every host has come up to them to ask them about it.

Ah, ok. Makes sense.

BFDIA 24 is out!

Of course (naturally of course) Tennis Ball, the eternal and ultimate goat of all composite medias ever existed HAD to buff the verse in every ways and carrying the whole episode from even before it start to after it ended (Without even considering having the best badass elimination of all time 🥹)... The prize don't even deserve him anyways.

Regarding Jack, since he stated being outside of BFDI universe and being the source of host votes so... shouldn't he be above everyone in AP and be the one granting Budget Cut powers?

He seems to be the most narratively important if you think what would happens if he doesn't exists, and should be above One's pocket dimension in existance that's already unaffected by the timeline destruction that's affecting the 3 universes, especially when the glitching also ended at the door of Jack universe, same glitch that happened in TPOT 15 confirming therefore being outside, and possibly being unaffected.

(I'm also wondering who he was referring when he said "they told me" and what he meant by "not healthy to mix universes" but of course, he also liked TB 😛)

Also the Recovery Center when characters are originally an unalive drawing, I wonder how Needle was still alive and being able to talk when she was half recovered.

question, will the other algebralians get their own profiles on the wiki? considering how they're way more important than most objects (especially people like three)

oh and also wouldn't jack's universe be connected to the main one like the others (at least in the context of sharing the same timeline) because jack was also getting affected during tpot 15 which would mean that the fourth universe also scales to their base forms

Maybe once TPOT is over since we have yet to see their full potential.

You know, I never actually considered that. Thinking about it more, it actually makes sense that Jack got affected by the Shift given how at one point in TPOT 15 in one of the alternate timelines, TV plays the dancing scene from BFB 25, but Taco is the one doing it instead of Flower to indicate that Flower got eliminated in BFB 22 instead of Taco. If Jack really was outside of the universe given how every host has gone to his universe to ask him about the votes, then his votes should've stayed the same due to him being out of the main universe, yet the votes clearly ended up being changed to ensure that Flower got out instead of Taco to indicate that Jack's universe indeed got affected.

I guess everyone scaling to the 4th universe was possible after all!

This CRT is gonna be a big one, I can already tell...

Not gonna lie, besides adding an universe and the establishment of solid infinite speed (time to says good bye to those countless mftl+ calcs 🥺) there's kinda nothing new regarding haxs no?

Also where did bfdie 10 went

“Quick” question: just how many instances are there of contestants fully scaling to a serious Two/Four? I know there’s the Needle Block feat and the ending of TPOT 1 (tho that probably wasn’t against a serious Two ngl), but what else is there?

(I’m mainly asking because contestants with pieces of Two’s power are capable of one shotting contestants without the power, who are already scaling to Two, which then turns into a feedback loop that seems a little weird without some more evidence of them scaling.)

Didn't Beach Ball (the goat) appear in BFDI Mini (also David)?

I think it will surely be the case, otherwise what was the point of this season 👴
Rose also appears in BFDI Mini
GOD ******* DAMNIT FERN WON SIDEWALKY WINNING WOULD'VE BEEN SO FUNNY I KNEW THEY'D MESS WITH THE PLOT TO LET HIM WIN.

Not just BFDI Mini, but BFDI Mini: Again (Where she wins), TPOT 15 and TPOT 18. Also hello I’m new here.

I figured from the beginning that Fern was destined to win. Sidewalky would’ve been hilarious (and we are apparently getting directors cut’s of the other two winning because it was based on the votes that decided the winner) but it was unrealistic for him to win.

Also… Announcer says the gorge is infinitely bottomless, and we see Sticker get out of it by the end after he falls in. Considering there’s already by contrast a “regular” bottomless pit in BFDIE 2, you could probably argue more consistency to more Infinite Speed if you truly wanted too. (Albeit you can debate exactly how she got out of the gorge by what means)

Also, for anybody curious, they did the TDI thing with BFDIE:

Yeah, I was pretty much aware of that. The winner was honestly way too obvious because of the accumulated vote counts overtime prior to the episode coming out, but at least we get to see the other 2 endings as what-if scenarios if the other final 3 contestants won instead. It really goes to show that as much as Total Drama has pretty much been doomed from getting a 9th season since 2024 (Thanks, Cartoon Network), because of the fact that this series was the whole reason Battle for Dream island (And object shows in general) existed as a whole, they just wanted to have this very tribute by doing the most iconic part that was done in the first 6 seasons of Total Drama.

Speaking which, if these alternate endings do in fact take place in other timelines, perhaps we could see a cosmology upgrade that would upgrade the range of Budget Cuts?

Hello welcome to the VS Battles OSC discussion!
Also I fully agree, I knew Fern would win because I knew how the scripting would go, but I REALLY wanted Sidewalk to win.

Also, I think that may just be hyperbole. Also that'd mean Earth is infinitely large, because the pit would at minimum be the radius of Earth.

I mean…an entire universe and multiple inverted planets are inside BFDI’s Earth, to me at least it wouldn’t be the most absurd thing if it was an infinite distance in there. Also could be why when X was going 2763 mph to the core he never reached it, and how the contestants fell down for canonically a month between BFDI 9 and 10 and never reached the core either. But yea I would only use this as supportive evidence for more Infinite Speed stuff.

That's definitely meant to be a hyperbole given how we have seen Earth plenty of times in the series yet no extension of this "infinite" bottomless gorge. Not that it matters given how Cary's statement about Nonexisty's size in his TPOT 1 commentary is already enough to call the universe infinite in size.

Yea I agree, just would’ve been funny to argue to get to the Underworld you also would have to travel an infinite distance into the Earth to get into it. (Which considering it’s an infinite distance to get to both the Real World and Jack’s universe would’ve made it more consistent)

Remember the sympathy bait for Book? Well, Fern is her sister.
