I wouldn't say Post 06. It was still good for a while up until Pontaff took over. Unleashed is amazing and personally my favorite game and Sonic is divine in it. Silver's great in Rivals from what I hear (I gotta watch that at some point...) and the Rider games up until Free Riders is good character-wise (Free Riders might be good character-wise, but the game itself is ass).

UWUver mostly originated in fanwork that over exaggerated his "twinky" or naive image that the dub for 06 gave off. So it lead to people overexaggerating the traits in fanart to a degree it lost the original meaning of who Silver was. In Japanese, he's voiced by Daisuke Ono, and his voice direction is much more serious and stern sounding. Silver's image as "cool" could've been better solidified had they given Quinton Flynn voice direction for him more in line with his performances as Raiden, Reno, or Axel.

Free Riders Amy Rose literally called Cream "just some useless kid" and made it quite clear she didn't care about her teammates. Also lets not forget Free Riders literally killed off the Riders sub-franchise and the Babylon Rogues had to wait nearly 20 years to be playable in a spin-off console/PC racing game again, nuff said on that.

Weather it was due to Evan's influence or the fandom generally seeing him that way because of discourse and earlier fanarts from even 2006, who knows.

But I do note that some of the earliest fanarts from 2006 seemingly paint Silver as just "He existed" or "He's pretty cool", without leaning super hard onto the UWU shit. Maybe there's something from late 2006 that started UWUver, though GOTF and 2007/2008 fanart is the earliest documented shit I can recall.

I wouldn't exactly use said evidence for Immeasurable, only that the team had no qualms about Sonic being astronomically fast, as to prevent Massively FTL+ from being an outlier in Classic Era. Immeasurable probably wouldn't work anyway due to Sonic Mania.
