Its one thing to get angry with death battle messing up a match up, but having it be the worst in life is ridiculous, implies if for example a family member passes away, thats not as bad as death battle messing up

Off the top of my head:
Count Dooku Vs Aokiji/Kuzan seems pretty thematic instead of just having two ice users fighting each other yet again.
Two powerful and skilled warrior's that just wanted to do the right thing, that were the apprentice of a living legend (Garp and Yoda) that gradually became disillusioned with a corrupt system (World Government and Galactic Republic) that oppressed the innocent and benefitted bureaucrats that were no different to criminals.
Both lost out on a promotion for another warrior that would only maintain the broken and rigid status quo within the ranks (Akainu/Sakazuki who killed Ace and Mace Windu who killed Jango Fett).
Eventually both were left with no choice but to leave their old life (The Marines and Jedi Order) behind and seemly join forces with a dark themed villain as well as the antithesis of their old life (Blackbeard/Pirates and Darth Sidious/Sith) to play the long game of trying to break the current system, even if it means being seen as a traitor and the villain their teamed up with, will likely throw them under the bus should the situation present itself (Darth Sidious already did this).

Kiana vs Noel Vermillion is a pretty damn good one. I've kinda proposed Kiana vs Hal Jordan before and that's a decent alternative, even I feel both character have better options for them.
Also good because Kiana's main story arc has kinda been finished while a lot of other gachas are still ongoing.
I've seen Nanook vs Unicron and I kinda see this one but not exactly my favourite.
I've seen Fu Hua vs Carol Mellis but I'm not knowledgeable about the latter.
Raiden Mei vs Homura Akemi is kinda decent ig?
Sirin vs Goku Black is honestly pretty neat ngl.

Anyway, while I'm not that knowledgeable in explosion physics, I do know explosions decrease drastically due to surface area and distance. The fact that Reiner is quite far away from the actual source of the explosion drastically reduces the energy he actually took. You might get some really good numbers if you calculate it tho (the goat Reiner is really carrying the verse with his durability feats lmao)
Yeah, that's what I was talking about. But that only applies to that particular technique, since we also see Armin somewhat endure his heat wave for some time while being decently close to the Colossal, so I'm still more inclined to believe that sun level heat only applies to the total heat Bert produces via converting himself,f not the body heat he exudes with his eat wave or steam.
To summarize my thoughts
Bert converting himself to steam (sun level heat)>>Wall Titan's body heat (enough to vaporize humans)=the Colossal's steam and heat wave (took some time to cook a human)
This would actually give Eren and Reiner really good heat resistance since they directly withstood him falling with that heat.....

For other bleach fights using Uruhara seems like the obvious choice, Urahara vs Kakashi is always a really strong pick and Urahara vs Gojo is also good for a more modern matchup. Uruhara vs Stein from Soul Eater is also there.
The next best picks are like Byakuya and Kenpachi , with then someone like Ulquiorra and Mayuri pulling up the rear.

Phainon vs Sephiroth (Final Fantasy)- Underrated, surprisingly themathic, and is a great hero vs villain matchup. Khalana vs Saver Sephiroth will make for a peak climax
Cyrene vs Madoka (Madoka Magica)- Has some deep connections and is solid
Feixiao vs Yoruichi Shihouin (Bleach)- We definately need more Bleach characters that aren't the main 3 (Ichigo, Aizen, Yhwach). Solid MU
March 7th/Evernight vs Tohka/Tenka (Date a Live)- Solid MU. The alter ego dynamic is cool. March is the literal face of HSR, and a DAT rep that isn't Kurumi will be neat
Kafka vs Hazama (BlazBlue)- Decent MU. Kafka is the OG HSR mommy, and more BB reps are great
The Herta vs The Doctor (Doctor Who)- This one is new, but it's relatively thematic, but I'm not really sure of it
Firefly has a lot of MUs like Jin (Xenoblad), Emerl (Game Sonic), and Shadow (Movie Sonic)
Lygus also has a ton like Isaac Westcott (Date a Live), Marisbury (Fate), and Relius (BlazBlue)
There is also a bunch of HSR vs Fate MUs like Blade vs Berserker Lancelot (actual peak), Firefly vs Sieg, The Herta vs Da Vinci, Acheron vs Musashi, and IronTomb vs ORT.
Genshin:
Raiden Ei vs Malenia (Elden Ring)- Yeah, this rocks imo. It's just Vergil vs Sephiroth 2.0
Arlecchino vs Itachi (Naruto)- Best Itachi MU imo and it works.
Tartaglia vs Toji (JJK)- Sick animation potential and one of Toji's best
Venti vs Astolfo (Fate)- This needs no explaining
