Yeah you can connect quite a bit, but it might be problematic if you are strict. Frontiers and Xros Wars had wacky scalings, that should be a problem tbh. Also, using stuff like Adventure PSP game is bit silly. And then how scale of dimensionality isn't quite explained in most cases. Xros Wars Manga sure mentioned DW is more complex than Human universe, but that didnt have specific range. Tamers sure mentioned many layers between DW and Human worlds, but like, if you accept Redigitize funny fruits, 6-7 layers do not match funny 24D fruits. And are Eaters how much beyond DW? Even tho Digimon can still fight them at the end of CS?

So yeah, if I were strict, I could mention these kinds of annoyances. But in context, we are comparing this to ******* Pokemon. The amount of mental damage you need to have to think Pokemon matches anything like this outside of Kratos-tier lore merchant Arceus is laughable. No amount of uwu uwu Ultra Space arguments ever stack up to true credibility either. But if we wanna be actually fair, I can see why someone would have issues with Digimon.
 
Of course, this is Death Battle we are talking about, and things get bit complicated.

DB tries to look at "characters at their maximum potential", but that doesnt guarantee actually everything. Sometimes, some feats and scalings are deemed unusable. On occasion, DB acknowledges these cases, but coincidentally they also usually then say that the opponent could match it if given equal leeway. This unfortunately makes DB inconsistent overall, since some cases feel like they shouldnt give that much leeway, while other times they give it too much.

Reiner was pinning the Source on the ground at the stump of Eren's neck, while Armin was between the shoulderblades on the Doomsday, it wasnt epicenter but it was still very close to the center of the blast

Unless we are downscaling humans from sun-level heat, the steam does not scale to the specific technique Bert used there.

The feat in question is Bertolt converting his entire body into steam as an attack, which is what he did when he fell onto Eren.

Oh no I totally agree. I like that Ichigo is definitely more of the 'unga bunga' guy because that's his personality coinciding with this powers. He's no knuckle-dragging idiot but his style of fighting is relying on instincts rather than Urahara-style analyzing and such. It just makes his fights against big brain super planners like Aizen and Ywactch funnier because their best-laid plans are brought down by "I'll try hitting him HARDER" tactics.

I am going to be evil and veto certain thing and say... Yeah I actually kinda want to keep this one thread going. Every other General thread basically never create new ones. We dont need to create new threads.

Unless excessive posts in a single Thread is against the rules here? Id like to keep this going.
