Eh nah? Don't even need outerversal stuff tbh... they are just way too Haxy, and Reactive Evolution in specific just... counters everything they can trowDBS Gogeta stomps the outerverse that Digimon takes place in.

Eh nah, that is VERY one sided... the very concept of "evolution" between both series is already apparent on the power creep between formsThey don’t even get past Pokemon, either through powerscaling or thematically.
No... Masaru one shots fiction i'm afraid, the Original SaitamaDoes Gogeta even beat Daimon Masaru in a fight or will animation quality brainwash us into thinking he can keep up?

I never, ever let go of a grudge. They didn’t deserve to win the first time. It's been over a decade and you're still mad about Pokemon losing to Digimon. Like I said, get used to it. Digimon will continue owning Pokemon in VS.
Your info's out of date, I'm afraid. 99% of a Pokemon's development comes from their training, not through evolution.Eh nah, that is VERY one sided... the very concept of "evolution" between both series is already apparent on the power creep between forms
In Digimon evolution and training are one and the same, so, same thing igYour info's out of date, I'm afraid. 99% of a Pokemon's development comes from their training, not through evolution.
Digimon evolution isn't really the transformation to another stage, they passively grow, grow further via their emotions, constantly rewriting their Data structure to get stronger, faster, etc, with training as wellEthan for example has himself a fully evolved Starter Pokemon by around the 4th Gym. From there, he beats the remaining 4 Gym Leaders, defeats Ho-Oh, trains until he can solo the Elite 4, solos the Elite Four, defeats the Champion, beats 8 more Gyms and defeats Mewtwo all without his Typlosion evolving any further. And that's assuming he doesn't touch the Battle Frontier or a single rematch. All these steps are not minor upgrades for one another, they're just the main steps on a whole journey. Pokemon are not stronger because they "evolve more".
Lies, everyone knows the EXP gain in GSC is hot garbageYour info's out of date, I'm afraid. 99% of a Pokemon's development comes from their training, not through evolution.

also i soloed Fire Red by simply overleveling every Pokemon i had, i never evolved them... JUST FOR FUN!!!!!Lies, everyone knows the EXP gain in GSC is hot garbage
Same with Pokemon. In Digimon evolution and training are one and the same, so, same thing ig
How little respect for Pokemon must you have... to think they can't do that too?Digimon evolution isn't really the transformation to another stage, they passively grow, grow further via their emotions, constantly rewriting their Data structure to get stronger, faster, etc, with training as well
"Evolution" emcompasses all the ways a Digimon can grow, no matter what a Digimon does, living in of itself will make them "evolve" further, usually to stronger states, like, Zero-Maru while he was an Adult level, constantly soloed Perfect stages simply cuz Taichi trained him very well, bare in mind... Perfect stages are near godlike to Adult stages... and Ultimate Digimon are so ridiculous in terms of power that their mere existence treatens to destroy the Digital world and they are said to be Gods in the perspective of lower stages... and Zero-Maru casually defeats them even after evolving to just Perfect level all because Taichi trained him well enough
I know of the gap you were talking and the way Pokemon grow, Ash's Pikachu is a good example, it is just that... that has that up to 11 + many, MANY other factors to their "evolution"
They can legit will themselves to resist their God trying to erase them just because they want to live enough, and then keep going to get stronger after that... Pokemon is far more "grounded" in that aspect imo
Pokemon's evolution is static compared to Digimon's, and that's just a fact.Same with Pokemon.
How little respect for Pokemon must you have... to think they can't do that too?
And Yggdrasil wasn't actively trying to erase everybody, he basically spread a disease that was causing it.
You haven't managed to retain a single thing I've said so far, so all I'll bother with mentioning is that Rei literally defeated Arceus.Pokemon's evolution is static compared to Digimon's, and that's just a fact.
Really, when has Pokemon ever been able to resist Arceus' power, even just the avatars? Digimon via evolution could contend with Yggdrasil 7D6 and Omegamon X in X-Evolution even managed to affect True Yggdrasil with All-Delete.
But hey, you'll continue to deny facts because that's just how you are; how you're not banned yet is beyond me.
I wonder if Pokémon fans can solo their accusationsThey don’t even get past Pokemon, either through powerscaling or thematically.
Evolution as in "defined in the series as the same as when they change into higher forms" evolution?Same with Pokemon.
Yeah? Like... Pokemon can't just... will themselves to resist something, or absorb the very essence of the oponent to gain all of their powers and change their whole anatomy to reflect that, or revive themselves back to life and gain a new form that unleashes all their inner potential just because they said "i want to live" really hardHow little respect for Pokemon must you have... to think they can't do that too?
No, he was actively trying to erase 99% of all Digimon, that just triggered a spread of the X-Antibody/X-Particles cuz Digimon developed it in order to surviveAnd Yggdrasil wasn't actively trying to erase everybody, he basically spread a disease that was causing it.
also we can do goofy stuff like turning a Cat, to a hot Angel, and then a furry Dog Dragon:If we're going to talk about evolutions from a thematic standpoint, Digimon does mog in that category. A lot of the time evolution in Pokémon is treated like a push, showing not just a growth in power but also the bond between mon and trainer, but Digimon does the same thing. But what really gives it that push in my opinion is how these Digimon grow in response to an aspect of their partner. Take for example Tai and Agumon, when they recieved the Crest of Courage. At first Tai believes courage to just mean forgetting about fear entirely and charging in recklessly, and while that does provide a massive power boost, it only brought ruin in the form of SkullGreymon. However, after learning true courage is still acknowledging one's own fear but still fighting on, it provides an even greater boost that strengthens the connection between himself and Agumon.
I just think this is real thought provoking and teaches a more powerful lesson.
Because everything you've said is pure BS.You haven't managed to retain a single thing I've said so far, so all I'll bother with mentioning is that Rei literally defeated Arceus.
Nope.Because everything you've said is pure BS.
That was the one from completing the Pokedex, not their rematch in Eternal Battle Reverie. As for Rei, the Arceus that was "defeated" was just testing them to see if they're worthy; they weren't trying to kill Rei so nice job omitting context.
You mean the thing that's explicitly a dream, hence the name and you being able to access it from your bed in Jubilife?Nope.
That was the one from completing the Pokedex, not their rematch in Eternal Battle Reverie.
Dreams are just another reality in Pokémon, Arceus was clearly making it happen, and it was actually a challenge. You mean the thing that's explicitly a dream, hence the name and you being able to access it from your bed in Jubilife?
Arceus also calls the Eternal Battle Reverie another test so that just goes against your point even more.
Didn't I JUST tell you that training is way more important than evolution anyway?Evolution as in "defined in the series as the same as when they change into higher forms" evolution?
Neither can Digimon.Yeah? Like... Pokemon can't just... will themselves to resist something, or absorb the very essence of the oponent to gain all of their powers and change their whole anatomy to reflect that, or revive themselves back to life and gain a new form that unleashes all their inner potential just because they said "i want to live" really hard
Or evolve so much that they can stand against their God's powers and say "no" to it, to the point it not only doesn't affect them, but becomes part of them
I am not lacking respect, not at all... it is just that you didn't showed me anything that says otherwise, so i just have to assume they can't as i haven't been shown otherwise
No, he wasn't. He only created and released the X Program. No, he was actively trying to erase 99% of all Digimon, that just triggered a spread of the X-Antibody/X-Particles cuz Digimon developed it in order to survive
No, they're not. They're just dreams because otherwise, we would have already seen what you're saying in either the games or anime.Dreams are just another reality in Pokémon, Arceus was clearly making it happen, and it was actually a challenge.
Evolution is a Platonic concept in Digimon so yes, Digimon does do evolution way better than Pokemon has ever done it.“Pokemon doesn’t really focus on evolution” “OMG DIGIMON DOES EVOLUTION WAY BETTER”
"Dreams are real in DC Comics??? Then why didn't Superman go to Earth-2 when he fell asleep???"No, they're not. They're just dreams because otherwise, we would have already seen what you're saying in either the games or anime.
There's explicitly a realm for dreams in DC, though. That's the whole point of The Sandman."Dreams are real in DC Comics??? Then why didn't Superman go to Earth-2 when he fell asleep???"
1) its not anything of sort, its a fanservice series by made by triggerI tried to watch Kill La Kill, it’s basically child ****. Everyone basically molests or sexually harasses each other all the time. Ragyo is one of many.
Yes, same with Pokemon. There's explicitly a realm for dreams in DC, though. That's the whole point of The Sandman.
They wont do it. Sad.Thoughts on Lucemon vs Lucifer?
Yeah? And i said that imo, Digimon concept of evolution just pushes harder to power creep than Pokemon's... the topic wasn't about power ups, but about "evolution" in both seriesDidn't I JUST tell you that training is way more important than evolution anyway?
I literally showed you the scans showing that yes they can, if you want to say otherwise... well, say your arguments for it... else there is nothing much to say other than "yeah they can"Neither can Digimon.
Which actively erased all Digimon affected by it... aka, he actively erased themNo, he wasn't. He only created and released the X Program.
It's a classic for Megaten matchups, though I don't know where Lucemon should scale nowadays, idk if the Digimon profiles are up to dateThoughts on Lucemon vs Lucifer?
