Yeah GvS3 tried really hard to pretend it wasn't an unintentionally mean-spirited stomp. Superman was the belle of the ball, Superman fans were riding high, Dragon Ball fans were public enemy number one, and Death Battle tried to keep things wholesome, but like its an unfair stomp at its core

I'll let you in on a little secret, it wasn't unintentional at all. They gave Superman every advantage while deliberately leaving out or downplaying all of Goku's wincons and made Goku uncharacteristically friendly just to make the viewers be okay with everything. It was a massive middle finger to Dragon Ball.

Its literally the granddaddy of VS debating outside of people in ancient times comparing their gods to others of another pantheon. It's not mean-spirited, its history and passion rolled into one for what could have been one last hurrah in case DB couldn't find their footing before RTs closing.
