I'll say what I said in the actual thread, since it is from the sorcerer's perspective, from naoya's perspective one movement from them = one second. We even see in the dagon vs naobito fight how dagon's movements are divided in 24, yet dagon fails to fullfill the 24FPS rule
Even if you don't wanna say it increases physical speed (which it does in a way via stacking, that's literally what naoya does against maki) it would still mean Naoya's perception is 24x above everyone's else who will only see one frame of that at a time.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention; the 4000km distance isn't valid because HP was concealed until the last second, so you'd have to use a shorter distance here because Sukuna reacts to it when it is way closer. I believe we can see that shorter distance right before it hits the building Sukuna was on

It likely was but we don’t know when he would’ve reacted. This would effectively be the minimum speed assuming hp is ftl
Also that shorter distance was after he already raised his arms so it can only be used as the “end distance” in a sense for how far hp would’ve traveled by the time Sukuna reacted

I don’t think the composition is ass, it portrays HP how he likely wanted. All we see is Gojo firing it and next thing we and Sukuna know it’s literally right in front of him. It demonstrates HP’s speed as well as their plan for it to be hidden til the last second
Probably but the panel we see is the end right before it hits, Sukuna’s arms are already raised and HP is a single building away. If we had a shot of how far it was before he noticed it or a shot when he did it’d be calcable but like this it isn’t without effectively just doing an arbitrary assumption.

In that aspect, you're right. It's a really good showcase for high speed if anything but I was more so talking in general, when we have to wait for the anime multiple times for multiple feats. One Piece has this problem as well

Hmm I do wonder is it POV or FOV cause the translation we have in the profiles currently has the explanation as being related to FOV. I know it’s the manga vs the fanbook but considering the fanbook is kind of just repeating the explanation given in the manga I wonder if it’s supposed to be the same thing and it was just translated differently

I'm pretty sure the actual translation is how it uses their FOV as the Angle of view so it's still their POV in terms of FPS, while their FOV is the AOV like of a camera

I was specifically talking about speed, so that what I thought you were talking as well? Especially since there are people who have argued against it. That being said, I think some of the size calculations are probably somewhat wonky since Oda has an issue with scale. But, it seems like you're actually upset, and I don't want to make this into a One Piece scaling argument in the JJK thread, so imma drop that threadline.

Is the speed of sound thing for Cursed Naoya or as a Human? Because the imgur scan from his page shows this is during the fight against cursed Naoya.There's no real thread about it, it just got agreed on because of the statements, the closest thing you can get to a thread about that is this one.

Am I missing something? I thought Human Naoya was the basis of downgrade? But his transonic statement from his page doesn't give him a speed value.

you're correct, he is the basis of the downgrade and doesn't have a value (Page assumes he's like Mach 0.9), though I recall there were some discussion about whether or not Human naoya could potentially be supersonic, which might actually be the case if that one anime calc is correct
