Probably gonna have to use the 4km for the timeframe assuming SoL and him moving his arms up in that time considering by the time we see him moving his arms up it's already right in front of him

That sounds the best tbh. Although I did make a calc using SOL Sukuna (Weakened Sukuna can react to SOL multiple times and that was a healthy one) moving the arm and got the Purple to baseline FTL+ so there's that avenue

Applying that speed would be calc stacking so it'd be invalidated

Also if you're talking about him reacting to Jacob's Ladder, I don't really agree with implying that Sukuna moved before the light hit him given we see him already burning but I argued with someone else for like 2 pages about that and I don't want to have to do that again so imma just wait for the anime before doing anything with that

I thought established speed ratings can be used as long as we calculate the distance alongside it (which would be his arm movement) no?

If they come from a calc, no. We also can't just assume a specific speed based on the fact that they reacted to an attack with a specific speed. Since you were talking about the Kashimo example, saying that Sukuna is SoL because he reacted to the EM wave wouldn't work because 1. distance is still involved and it plays an important factor which just wouldn't be factored if we apply a blanket SoL speed, and 2. if we use the calc'd speed it's then calc stacking so it's a lose-lose situation.

Nah no way. Thats so stupid. Youre acting like one move equals one second for no reason lol.
  • Naoya can cover 343 m in one second.
  • Naoya covers that distance with 24 moves, therefore moving 14.2916666667 m with every move.
  • Every move takes 1/24 seconds, so he moves at 14.2916666667/(1/24) = 343 m/s
