Sonic General Discussion Zone Act 1: New Frontiers

Hey y’all! Random question, but for the feat of Sonic’s energy crossing the universe, we get this via the energy reaching Tails and Sonic’s statement of him coming from across the universe, right?

How do we know that this isn’t a mere hyperbole? Did Tails himself also state this or something?

Btw, I’m asking cuz I was using this feat in a debate with someone, and he asked all this.

Tails stated earlier in the movie that Sonic’s energy traveled all the way to his planet. That’s how he first discovered him.
 
Is there any significance to time in Mainline functioning so that changes to the past alter the future and different decisions lead to new universes, or is that just how time stuff regularly works in fiction?

I want to start this, with Nibroc (from what they know)stated about, speed battle (possibly) being Canon like speed simulator, all because it has explanation?(All character are phantom copies).

Sonic being freed by the player(?) is a cool idea. I wonder how he was de-digitized though, maybe that part is part of where Sage and The End went "how" to him being fine after Cyber Space?
 
I'm ngl Sonic being freed by the player would directly contradict what's said in game. At least with stuff like SXSG there was enough wiggle room for some of its rewritten lines to coexist with other stuff. The End states that Sonic escaped Cyber Space with his own power, and I'm sure it would have the cosmic awareness to tell if he had help

and if we did consider it, it'd honestly make ENG Frontiers' already horrible attempt at a "defying fate" theme somehow even worse. I really hate how bad SEGA is trying to connect everything and make it all canon when that only screws up Sonic's lore even more than it already is. I'm not saying there can't be a canon and continuity but Sonic isn't the type of series to have this huge overarching story where everything connects. It's especially annoying when they apparently try to make the ROBLOX GAME canon. tl;dr this franchise is embarrassing even now.

I assume they, just made it exclusively for SSS, just like Time eater return. whatever sega higher up agree to probably didn't think through (as always).

Holy crap did they just confirm my (and causalist i think) suspicions about Sonic Forces Speed Battle? It also had no statements on it being non canon either.

Well, The sole individual who "thinks", it isn't Canon, is Ian; however, considering the numerous instances where individuals have pointed out Ian's admission that he does not represent SEGA's official stance, and noting that some of his statements are personal rather than reflecting those of senior management, it is reasonable to conclude that Ian's statements lack validity.

Does one's reactions become equal to their speed when amplified by the Spin Dash? Sonic could instantly interrupt his own Spin Dashes in Sonic Labyrinth. (this is forced to happen if you're about to roll off of a ledge)

Isn't that obvious? We treat the characters being able to control their direction mid spin-dash. Same for the homing attack and any other extension of the spin attack.
 
Oh crap, Rouge's page is outdated that badly??? Sheesh.

I don't think a CRT is required to correct stats that should no longer exist on a page. Would somebody be willing to update her and put the justification as the Stats Blog linked under Explanation Blogs in the Verse Page? (I am currently working until about 4 hours from now so I won't be able to)
