Honestly should be very strong. Nowhere near protagonist level, but still far above average considering how much his deck relies entirely on luck and how often he delivers it.In this case, how strong is Joey’s faith in it?

If were talking purely animation and nothing else, some contenders are:I'll ask it here too; is KratosAsura the worst fight animation of DB eps 100-199(MvS2 to HulkGodzilla)? Is there more competition than Jason vs Michael?
Hmm yes these might be contenders? Maybe DekuAsta & even perhaps BlakeMikasa arent thaaat bad.If were talking purely animation and nothing else, some contenders are:
Black Canary vs Sindel
Batgirl vs Spider-Gwen
Deku vs Asta
Sanji vs Rock Lee
Aang vs Edward
Blake vs Mikasa
Maybe the Seven Battle Royale if you count it
Fair, but I'm not seeing anyone defend the othersHmm yes these might be contenders? Maybe DekuAsta & even perhaps BlakeMikasa arent thaaat bad.
I don't think Black Canary vs Sindel looks bad. I thought the common consensus was janky writing? If were talking purely animation and nothing else, some contenders are:

animation wise its fine its the writing that bogs it down mainly on Ed side of thingsAang vs Edward
Depend of how high Death Battle its going to place One Piece's Top Tiers.I know this is a gigastomp but just here me out

Also I just really liked the idea of someone named Father fighting someone named Mom
Alright this could be interesting cause Joey has time wizard, which even with all the different resistances and scaling Ryuji would get, he’s not immune to the aging abilities that Joey could use on him directly. Fossilization is a legit wincon, that is if rng is in his favor cause of the wheel spin.Honestly should be very strong. Nowhere near protagonist level, but still far above average considering how much his deck relies entirely on luck and how often he delivers it.
Alright then the question is: how likely would that be for him to make that his first move?I mean Joey legit only lost one time roulette.
Honestly not very likely. He's only using it as a game changerAlright then the question is: how likely would that be for him to make that his first move?
Can’t you use like the same argument to get the book guy from Dressrosa in One Piece to be Uni?Kaguya universal+ dimensions![]()
How are any of those on the level of Batgirl vs Spider-Gwen? I still cannot get over the shot of Gwen pulling the Batrang out of her arm with a low quality blood spray flying out and no visible wound afterIf were talking purely animation and nothing else, some contenders are:

K after rewatching Batgirl vs Spidergwen I did notice there was a wound, but the rest of it was still really dogshit. How are any of those on the level of Batgirl vs Spider-Gwen? I still cannot get over the shot of Gwen pulling the Batrang out of her arm with a low quality blood spray flying out and no visible wound afterthat shit was so ass.
I'm not arguing that any of them are better or worse than anything else I listed, though maybe I'm conflating choreography/writing with the animation somewhat. How are any of those on the level of Batgirl vs Spider-Gwen? I still cannot get over the shot of Gwen pulling the Batrang out of her arm with a low quality blood spray flying out and no visible wound afterthat shit was so ass.
Fair, either way, if brought up I think it’d be an interesting win con/death since Ryuji has the whole pirate aesthetic going onHonestly not very likely. He's only using it as a game changer

Not the weirdest way I see people scale a character to multiversal.
Yujiro ABSOLUTELY EMBARASSES Homelander, before killing him, yujiro would be pissed while fighting him, not because homelander ticked him off, but feel like he is a mockery of him, thinking that THEY could make a superhuman that " survive a nuke" what disrespect!, also because homelander is not even worth of a fight
... Technically this version of Mordecai and Rigby could have profiles... right?![]()

Personas passively warp space-time; Shadows do that too, and Persona characters fight them all the time, so they have plenty of experience of fighting against time manipulators. Persona users can also withstand time distortions, since the Dark Hour stops conceptual time, and the characters are unaffected by the time loop in The Answer, since even if the day loops continuously, they're still able to progress. Chronos also rewinds time in Persona Q and the characters are unaffected. There's also a status effect in the series called Enervation, which is pretty much Age Manipulation, and every character can resist it to some extent, and there are ways to heal it, such as Amrita Soda, or even nullify it; not to mention that even characters affected by Enervation return to normal by themselves.Alright this could be interesting cause Joey has time wizard, which even with all the different resistances and scaling Ryuji would get, he’s not immune to the aging abilities that Joey could use on him directly. Do the other protags even come close to Yuki? Also, Digimon Protagonists Battle Royale when?
You mean the Time Stranger protagonist?Do the other protags even come close to Yuki?
I mean, unless the Cyber Sleuth protag profile is outdated, Time Stranger's protag has canonically fought ad defeated The Olympos XII all at once, every one of the Royal Knights, all of the Great Demon Lords, Susanoomon, Apocalymon, Armageddemon, Chronomon, and a version of Parallelmon that required two Omnimons to beatYou mean the Time Stranger protagonist?
I need to play that game on a better pc and when I have the time to get a better idea.
But yeah, given the spoilers I've read, I'd say Time Stranger protags are up there, but not as much as Cyber Sleuth's protags.
FairTbf, I should've specified Digimon anime protags.
Because Digimon franchise has a lot of protagonists and I'm sure if Death Battle made a Digimon protagonist battle royale from all Digimon media, the video analysis alone would probably (by my estimates) be over an hour long.
That’s entirely fair, I forgot about thatPersonas passively warp space-time; Shadows do that too, and Persona characters fight them all the time, so they have plenty of experience of fighting against time manipulators. well that I’m a bit iffy on cause like age manipulation is a bit flexible in this case cause I guess it’s like based on context. Time wizard has been shown to not just turn monsters old but straight up fossilize them. Ontop of that I don’t think Ryuji would be allowed healing items due to death battles rule set and he doesn’t have any healing spells of his own. There's also a status effect in the series called Enervation, which is pretty much Age Manipulation, and every character can resist it to some extent, and there are ways to heal it, such as Amrita Soda, or even nullify it; not to mention that even characters affected by Enervation return to normal by themselves.
Joey: “you’re done for! Now that my time wizard aged you and your monster up to old geezers it leaves you wide open to an attack from my red eyes!”Personas passively warp space-time; Shadows do that too, and Persona characters fight them all the time, so they have plenty of experience of fighting against time manipulators. Fair enoughDigimon profiles in general are outdated.
In fact, we just finished the Digimon Physiology/Data Manip/Hellfire CRT. So, the Digimon Physiology page was outdated. That should tell you the Digimon cosmology blog is also outdated.
But to address your response, while the Time Stranger protag fought the enemies you listed above (although the Demon Lords were actually a copy/copies from the Akashic Records if I remember reading the spoilers correctly) and Chronomon who was able to threaten all three servers (but I'd have to play the game to get full context to see if I'm right) the fact of the matter is that the Cyber Sleuth protag fought the Eaters and Mother Eater who itself is a bigger threat than Chronomon.
Although like I said, I'd have to play Time Stranger to get a better idea and get full context (even if I've read the spoilers).
I'm not trying to downplay the Time Stranger protags though.
For sure.Fair enough
Still calling dibs on Beelstarmon when yall are set to make profiles again
I think the biggest problem is that there aren't many battle royales that are worth doing and would get a lot of attraction, i think. The Megaman Battle royale was at least an interesting conceptI recently rewatched the Megaman Battle Royale. I gotta admit, I wish Death Battle had more Battle Royales. Maybe it's just because I really liked that episode or something.
theres a few i think but the main issue is budget and resourcesis that there aren't many battle royales that are worth doing and would get a lot of attraction,
