Hellaverse: Might of Lilith overload calcs

The greater context of the song is them ruling both heaven and hell together though.
But that specific line is about Неаven though, and that line is exactly what I care about when talking about population.
If you want get really technical with the lyrics, saying that the souls in heaven are "awaiting" implies that they are just waiting to be ruled when that isn't the case.
When I say that food is awaiting on kitchen to be eaten, I just mean that if you go to kitchen, there is food. It’s a basic figurative language lol.

Actually, listening to the song, I think Chritin's right.

He's not saying that 100 billion souls are waiting "up there", he's saying that once they take control of both (by getting "up there") there will be 100 billion souls awaiting their every command.
Am I reading this right?

“Once we get up there, up to the promised land, a hundred billion souls await our every command”. It also visually shows Неаven and Аngels, not combined worlds (no link/image cuz on phone for now, look up song on Youtube).

I think that using a billion (from Charlie's song) might be the safer lowball, especially given what Agnaa and others have just said.

Honestly, the 100 billion including both heaven and hell makes sense given how IRL 107 billion people have lived in all of human history.

Since Vox did say the number of Sinners outnumbered heaven, however, 50 billion could be a good mid-ball.

It doesn't just show Heaven and Angels, it shows Vox rising up there, and trampling around triumphantly.

There's talk about getting up there, and showing it, because they seem to believe that physically entering heaven by force will make them godlike.

The above stuff is why 50 billion for Hell would honestly be a good low-mid ball, given that Hell has the majority of the 100 billion dead souls.

You kind of neglecting the entire point of the song, and that while the "Once We Get Up There" tagline is about going to heaven, it is more about ascending to godhood like I said. The greater context is ruling both heaven and hell, not just rocking up to heaven and being given the throne. Like, literally, I don't know why you are taking the song so literally.

My thoughts exactly. Hell you could probably even argue they outnumber 2:1, making it like 66 billion sinners. I think that's a somewhat fair estimate for a stronger majority like the stomp both Vox and Sera imply hell could cause if they got to heaven with their weapons.

You do realize that the line was said in the specific segment of the song which talks about going up there and how many souls are awaiting them up there? Certain fragments of the song may deviate from the broader message from the song, don’t you think?

Meh, I think we've each kinda pleaded our cases on this point already. We're not really bringing up new info at this point.

Best to wait for others to evaluate, imo.

Yeah, we're kinda running in circles where it's probably best just to pick whichever one more people agree on. That is if people don't have nay other problems with the calc.

Don’t those projections assume we came from monkey-like creatures while Hazbin directly has humanity as older than Earth? Seems rather inconvenient to me that they are about the same size assuming y’alls set of assumptions are correct.

If you are gonna argue biblical origins for life in the Hellaverse, that just reduces the possible human population of Heaven and hell by a lot. You are reducing human existence from around 300,000 years to a couple thousand, so it would make even less sense for just heaven to have 100 billion people in it.

Most Bible interpretation (there is no specific data in it), put Earth creation at around 40000-6000 BC. According to best estimates significant majority of humans were born after this data. Figure of 80-100 would be broadly correct for Hellaverse(assuming all else equal)

The profile lists billions of years though, I am going off of that.

Hazbin Hotel isn’t Bible. That’s pretty cut and clear in the series. Either that, or this is the most inaccurate, nearly-caricatural portrayal of Bible lol.

The point was that because it is based on judeo-christian lore, then the creation of the Earth along with Adam & Eve would also be loosely based on that and only be a couple thousand years old.

It's either we assume humans have existed on their earth similarly to ours (with roughly 100 billion of humans having existed ever), or the earth is much younger and follows the biblical story more closely. You can't make an assumption that humans were created at the same time as earth, and then also existed for literal billions of years unchanged. You can't have your cake and eat it too on this.

Prove that Hazbin Hotel follows those specific verses which mention when Earth was created in Judaism/Christianity and I'll concede immediately.

Fun fact: Abel is the first martyr in Judaism/Christianity and thus logically should be first to enter Heaven in Hazbin if it follows everything so hardcore... uh oh.

I think that might just be assuming incorrectly. At least, Lucifer's profile doesn't list a source, and in Season 1 Lucifer said "In the last 10,000 years, you're the first one to change this town".

What do we expect could've happened 10,000 years ago aside from a biblical creation?

(Although, tbf, the whole "Lillith's uprising and the retaliatory yearly murders started seven years ago" shit feels like a bit of a retcon to this)

Prove that it combines two antithetical ideas on the age of the earth and the age of humanity from two entirely different sources of history. Like genuinely, there are two more logical routes of thinking for this based on two consistent ideas. Either you think humans in the hellaverse have existed for a similar amount of time as they have in th real world, or you assume that because of the links to judeo-christian myth then they follow estimates based on that.

Also yeah this makes more sense.

And again, I think we just need more people to make a decision here and get some kind of a tally of who agrees on what.

Question if Hell and Heaven are suppose to exist forever, wouldn't they need to be way larger to accommodate future dead people?

Hell was made by accident and is explicitly overpopulated.
The overpopulation is not even true per-say, exterminations were started under a false pretense after all.
Either way Heaven was made to house all dead people ever by that metric, so you figure that can impact any calcs for the shield breaking/shaking heaven

I already gave you an example antithetical to Judaism and Christianity. Quit being stubborn about this lol, none of the fiction 100% follows what it is inspired from.

Why is everyone arguing about duration of hellaverse existence? Most people were born in recent times. At the most it would push down total number of people that were born in verse to 50 billions

I'm against you extrapolating differences in lore to assuming that the population can be arbitrarily bigger than any estimate without proper evidence. Hell, I don't even agree with the origins of earth being entirely biblical, but you assuming that if they aren't one to one, then the earth is billions of year old AND that humans have existed that entire period of time when there is no evidence to support that synthesis. The evidence points towards the earth having a young origin (i.e. Lucifer's 10,000 years statement) or estimates of the population of dead souls being similar to earth (100 billion souls TOTAL).

Be consistent, stop trying to argue something so arbitrary.

True, I didn't consider how even if you take a young earth idea into the equation, it would still include most humans due to how populations have only been much higher during recorded history. Still, we were just arguing over Orange combining two different things to overblow the population when we already have a fairly solid basis with the total population of both realms being 100 billion.

I’m not arbitrarily assuming. It's stated by Vox.
that humans have existed that entire period of time when there is no evidence to support that synthesis.
What? Did humans, like, die off at some moment and then magically reappear according to you?

Eh, the reason I argue that it’s only Sinners/Winners is because “souls” usually refer exclusively to them, at least from what I understand.
Beelzebub did say this to Blitzo:
Alright shit talker, but there hasn't been a soul yet who can beat me at my own game. So you better bring the fire baby!"
So souls could also refer to hellborns.

Honestly the debate shouldn’t even be about population but about the methods used in calcs, we can always do 1-50-100 billions as low-mid-high ends. We both do the same except that Stellar Fish takes it as if Pentagram City is a city of a country, while I just divide it by 6 because there are only 6 significant locations we know of in the Pride Ring (thinking of changing it to 2 because the only other place we actually Sinners in is IMP City, and there is also a fact that IMPs live in Pentagram too, so dividing by two shouldn’t be that far of a stretch to assume). Concentrate on the method first rather than what end to use tbh.

Just say Heaven is universal in size and upscale the explosion from a shot to say everyone is High 3-A tbh
Btw since Emily did sorta survive getting clipped by a shot wouldn't it be easier to just focus on the forcefield breaking rather than the explosion for scaling purposes?
