Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

I don't know about Alastor being the "finale villain", doesn't seem like what the story is trying to tell us, as I'm pretty sure that Vivzie confirmed that as far as she knows they only greenlight her to have four seasons, and she was talking about this Roo character a lot as she was described as a "looming threat" that is going to "wait longer", and the fact that she confirmed to have already started voice recordings for Roo, it seems to me that Roo is supposed to be the final villain with all those points.

Of course there's always also the "Representations of Good and Evil" that were shown in the intro story of Season One, that were confirmed to be something more ethereal according to Vivzie.

That’s what I heard, dunno 100%. But Alastor having S3 villain role in that I’m sure.
Willing to bet thats just fan theorizing then or something, since based on everything known on Roo her being the Red color just makes more sense.

I mean Vivzie herself says that she wasn't sure if she would ever get greenlight for a fifth season, so...
Yes, thats why I said IF greenlit. It also just makes far more sense story wise since if it goes Alastor --> Lute --> Roo then we wrap up all the actual story beats of the main show with Roo basically being the "bonus level" or "secret boss" of the series. Something that CAN happen but isnt needed for a complete experience

Fair

I’m fairly sure Roo has to be in main plot and likely main threat because Vivz wants her in plot like no-one else

Yes, but the same can be said for Alastor and that mf had to wait 3 seasons for his spotlight.

While she might have very high hopes in Viv's dreams, let's be entirely bloody honest there's no choice for the final big bad against redemption than the literal root of all evil. Like whoever is the possible antagonist would have to be extra crazy to one up that, and there's no real choice other than Roo for the red motif

Note: Im not saying Roo CANNOT appear before then, its been mentioned she at least has recorded audio in some future thing, however an actual main villian role seems like actual endgame stuff

Rose sent Alastor to find Roo within these 7 years
I saw theory that reason she made him disappear was because Lilith left and they had no chance to get close to royal family and somehow get to Roo via them. Also why she sent him to Hotel when Charlie announced it

Alastor is gonna steal Roo’s power and be the final villain

And then Adam revives and one taps him

Would be funny as hell if now with Alastor out of Rosie's control, she decides to search for a replacement and then the new strongest sinner appears and it's Sinner Adam (none of this would happen btw)

Alastor: Oh thats clever, I will go under Vox command to manipulate him. Wait until he gets strong enough to break my deal and then use the opportunity to get him to accidentally touch Charlie…

Adam: Stabs Rosie in the back with the first Angelic Weapon he finds YEAH *****, THIS DOG BITES

Nah, he’d come back.

Season 2? ❌❌ Season 3? ✅✅ JUST TRUST ME

Voxtek website now has new pictures related to New Year
"Special Employee Announcement!

Happy Holidays VoxTek Employees! Prepare yourself for a special merchandise drop on November 28th at 12pm EST. It is mandatory that each employee purchases at least one item, though purchasing more could potentially benefit your end of year employee evaluation score."

To be more specific, it's not pictures related to New Year but instead just showing off merchandise for Christmas. There are no actual new images there beyond seeing some of the new Christmas ornaments

Charlie is a problem even when her conditions are "don't kill"
And everyone else is "just try to ******* kill them".
That's another issue. Charlie is trying so hard to get the moral high ground in a verse that treats murder as normal as breathing. Like even if she'd murder one person, she would probably still be considered a pure good character. Plus she doesnt even need to kill.

I've been keeping it a bit on the DL, but I hope y'all can support this thread I made <3
