Uh, yeah, we didn't die in Lushaka, but since HertaTomb declared the Third Emperor's War, my words must have gotten mixed up with that.

Also we know thanks to Zandar that Rupert was a candidate to ascend the throne of Destruction but was chained by Nous. We know Rupert 3 will be born again at some point don’t we? This seems like the perfect opportunity. The Anti Organic equation is as strong as it has ever been, and with a aeonic war on the horizon it seems like the perfect time for him to come back.

On some real shit, Imaginary Energy is just the fundamental substance of Honkai. It’s really good IM2 basically, capable of making CM3 stuff. An Aeon literally just manipulates Imaginary Energy according to their philosophy. There’s no CM1 here.

Anyway, I need to remind you that even though the statement says “They devour each other,” the visuals show otherwise.

And if you think “ruptured cosmos” means killing everyone, the next scene contradicts that — since TB manages to survive for a while even after Welt has already fallen.

Unlike Welt, who was clearly shown dead, Zephyro doesn’t have any line or statement confirming his death.

So the fight between Zephyro and Welt wasn’t a draw; Zephyro clearly won.

Btw, the english translation is also a bit misleading, since devour each other isn’t meant to be taken in the sense mutual destruction, but merely that they fought. It’s always implied Zephyro was stronger

Well, Hoyo doesn’t care about powerscaling like we do. They can nerf or buff someone just to hype up a scene.
