aProbably they just didn't ask him. As far as I understand, the anime script and the release of the finale of the first manga were going on in parallel. Even after 11 years of silence, the same studio releases a trailer for a film on TG, which collects half a million views in a day, and it turns out to be a splice of 6 episodes of season 1, where they didn't even bother to edit the scenes and repeated the opening and ending 6 times during the film

The Hashira ran into Nakime in a matter of hours, and the talisman equipped crows found her even faster thanks for their Enhanced Senses.
I doubt it would take Gojo more than a week to find her when he is teleporting around and scanning for her with Six Eyes.

Tbf there were hundreds of crows all with Yushiro’s BDA that have extra sensory perception, xray and visual power sensing. There were also hundreds of demon slayers and hashiras that also all have extra sensory perception sensing. Nakime also has teleportation so what stops her from teleporting away.
