Hmmm, I haven't done much thinking about it for Shadow. I'm somewhat tempted to say Cthulhu "Mythos" due to his relations to Black Doom. Who seems kinda Lovecraftian in appearance. I'd have to think about it tbh.

That'd go hard. Can imagine Shadow wearing a cool coat and a fedora with the whole investigator fit. Kinda like Call of Cthulhu.

Then I feel like you would HAVE to involve the Chaotix in the story. They could make AU versions of them like there's AU versions of Sonic's friends in the other story book games.

Lmao! It got to a point during the Egmman vs Bowser waiting period where I gained a reputation for literally diving head first into enemy territory and defending the Eggman Empire!😂

Alright! Now that I've got some free time again, how bout a question!

A Sonic Central should be right around the corner soon, and with that comes the very real possibility of a teaser for the next mainline Sonic game! So with that in mind, what do you all wanna see out of the next mainline release? Could be anything, whether its basics things like the game feeling good, good story, cool new abilities, etc.

Me personally, I DESPERATELY want a switch-up for the main cast! Sonic, Eggman, and Sage are fine, but we've had Amy, Tails, and Knuckles as Sonic's main compadres in the games for YEARS now, and I feel its time to finally give the spotlight over to some of the other characters now (especially with the conclusion of their stories at the end of Frontiers, suggesting that they'd be going off on their own adventures)! And I think the rest of the cast should be filled out by Blaze, Shadow, Silver, and perhaps Metal Sonic? What do you guys think?
 
Hello I'm currently playing the Sonic Racing Crossworlds beta and so far it's a wild ride. And by that I mean I'm getting absolutely bodied but it's at least in a fun way. That said I did encounter a single glitch so I was wondering if any of you know where I could report it as that is the point of a beta.

The glitch in question happened during a race through Apotos when the warp ring appeared to take everyone to Holoska it got stuck adjacent to the track and didn't go on the road which caused all the racers to hit a barrier and get sent back for a bit. The ring did go on the track ten or so seconds later allowing the race to resume although it was odd as the portals were so seamless every other time they appeared.

So what the CrossWorlds The Animation seems to show (if it's taken literally), is that the Main Courses are real and you do Cross Worlds to them, but the CrossWorlds are simulated from what I think?

Unfortunately I think we honestly can't tell, the ONLY way we're gonna possibly find out the nature of the Crossworld Rings is through the prequel comic (hopefully they planned to post it online instead of depending on LGR to maybe get their product out😑)

Still a bit confused about this, but the dialogue between Sage and Eggman that Shake (and User) shared definitely hints at some (if not all) of the tracks/crossworlds being simulations.

TBH, Crossworld's 1st teaser was released during the Year of Shadow & he do be liking driving different vehicles. That IDW Shadow Special getting postponed 2 years after his year is crazy tho💀

Edit: I like how he helps Rouge here unlike how he ignored her in TSR Overdrive

Agreed although speaking from my powerscaler brain for a second. Does anyone else find it slightly funny that the animation of a literal racing competition has good feats for no reason?

Also with how Eggman got boxed in by Team Rose in the TSR animation I believe, it was funny to see him pulling that tactic himself on Rouge with Sage's help especially because it makes me think that Eggman brought Sage along so he could jump people on the track.

Ohhhh, I just remembered a question I desperately wanted to ask!

Why isn’t Excalibur’s Scabbard on Sonic’s profile? I get that it’s sorta in a weird spot where he had it for a very brief period of time before handing it over to Merlina and didn’t utilise its power of immortality, but realistically, that Scabbard is rightfully his as the true King Arthur! It’s definitely not standard, but I feel like it’s something that should be considered🙃
 
Crossworlds is pretty good! Not exactly blown away but then again it's just the open beta so it's obviously nowhere close to the full experience

(I have played almost exclusively with Sonic on Extreme Gear he's so cool no matter how much SEGA tries to mess up his style and his model)
(I also need Blaze, Joker, and Miku playable NOW /silly)

I’ve been using it for Sonic vs Mario debates on Reddit for a while, kinda puts a stop to the “Well Sonic can’t kill Mario cause of his bottomless gloves + retry clocks/earlier times so ggs” cause reliant immorality is realllll nice🙃
